- So... it seems I haven't uploaded a crossover in almost a flipping YEAR! How on earth did that happen?
At least it turned out to be tragic Odella femslash, so I can't complain.
This was originally meant as my second or third attempt at the Simplicity Challenge, and I failed miserably again. Oh well.

Time to complete: Roughly 1 month.
Here's a summary for those who are a little confused: Odette is a princess who often dismisses her maids, her distant cousin Anastasia being the most recent casualty. Her governess gives her a new ladies maid, asking her to give her a chance.
Cinderella is a kitchen maid with a huge crush on the Princess, and is all too happy to serve her dispute the rumors. Odette and Cindy hit it off, and fall deeply in love over the coming months.
A prince comes to ask for Odette's hand, but she blatantly refuses. Two of the lords suggest a ball to the king to get Odette married off, and the king orders a certain prince be invited: one who has a history with Odette and one she doesn't wish to meet again.
At the ball, Derek appears and decides then and there that Odette will be his wife even though she wants nothing to do with him. Cindy arrives to Odette's rescue right when Derek declares he will take Odette as his wife whether she likes it or not.
Odette and Cindy are appalled; Odette puts her foot down, and Cindy protects her from Derek. He accuses them of homosexuality, which sets the king to banishing Cindy. Odette breaks down in tears as the ball rejoices over the promised wedding. Cindy is forcibly put on a ship taking her across the sea while she remembers her heartbroken love.
A year later, she is living as a ladies maid to Anastasia and is treated very well, never forgetting Odette; until one day Anastasia's mother reads a letter telling that Odette has died in childbirth. Cindy is devastated and says goodbye to the one she loved most of all.

Bro- I didn't even know I needed this couple until I saw this video. This is the story of princesses that would catch my attention as a child...
This has more depth and emotion than most animated movies! It’s so beautiful and touching; I wanted to cry all the way through! 💕

I agree I can only understand so little would it be too much trouble to write a story about the video please ?
I'm not the original creator but from my interpretation of it Anastasia seems to be some sort of handmaiden for Odette ( maybe also a cousin of hers ), she gets replaced with CInderella and they fall in love and keep the relationship a secret because it's taboo. Odette's parents want their daughter to marry and eventually force an arranged marriage with Derek on Odette. Cinderella tries to stop it but gets exiled and goes to work for Anastasia as a maid and eventually finds out through a letter that Odette died ( presumably by killing herself )

The way marriage traditionally worked, and may well still in parts of the world, is that a bride gave consent for the length of the marriage with her wedding vows. So legally, it wouldn’t have been rape but most certainly was.

This is absolutely beautiful! I actually cried at the part that Odette dies and Cinderella has lost the love of her life, this is very well edited and a breathtaking story, it's like a small tiny movie.👏👏💐💐💐

Se supone que Odette y cenicienta estaban enamoradas,pero por reglamento del reino a fuerza Odette se tenía que casar con Derek ,bueno con el que se terminó casando, pero se llevaban mal ,al final se terminó enamorando de Odette, Odette no se quiere casar, Derek se enoja, cenicienta la defiende, se enojan los reyes la manda lejos y le llega una carta comunicándole que Odette murió.

Long story short it's a tale about forbidden love between a Princess and her Handmaiden, with a stuck-up prince who won't take no for an answer thrown in for good measure.
