I saw Chris and her sister Jeanne play in a tournament in Columbus, Georgia (1973). .. ...The tournament finals featured Chris Evert vs Margaret Court... unfortunately, Margaret was unable to play due to injury... So, The tournament decided to have Chris play Jeanne in a pro set...Won by Chris 8-2.... That was a treat!. A great tournament! RIP Jeanne! .
I’ve been looking for the video that shows how we dealt with the extra ball when serving. Chris dropped it. I did that too. I’ve seen footage of it from 1974, but can’t find it now.
She has always been the most beautiful and classy queen of tennis. She has always been stunning for all her life, till now, despite aging and chemotherapy.. Great Chrissie! We miss you a lot...
Actually, as great as Chrissie was, she did not have the greatest winning percentage of all-time. That honor belongs to Margaret Court, who won 91.7% of her matches in the Open Era.
How is Chrissie an airhead? She's pretty articulate to me and has come a LONG way from how she was perceived at the beginning of her career. A LEGEND she is
That's a ridiculous statement. Chris was always known for her smarts on and off the court. She out thought her opponents on a daily basis. That how she won.
This comment brings to mind these wise words someone once said: Don’t argue with an idiot, they’ll bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.
@@BLACKTREATLOL her asking the child if she is happy makes her an airhead? I think Chris wanted to open up to the child and maybe didn't know any other way
She is and always will be my tennis hero. I'm glad she's doing well and giving back to a lot of people.
I couldn't agree more. Chris was always my hero growing up as a tennis player and I just love her to this day. A true champion in tennis and in life.
Chris Evert is the GOAT of woman's tennis, imo.
A champion. Thank you, Ms. Evert.
I love Chris Evert! She's beautiful inside and out!
Good update. We haven't heard much about her with the cancer battle lately.

Chrissie...Always #1
You are a classic, good person... and don't we need more of those in the world. You have set, yet another example in this interview... God bless.
LOVE this
She was a true legend

She shouldn’t refer you to her major wins as grand slams.
Diosa Evert

TWO class acts.
Interesting interview.
Too bad her sister didn't go to the doctor earlier.
Great tennis player but an airhead
