It used to bug me that “square dancing” was so often pushed on me in my childhood in school events and occasionally a special event related to the white oriented church my parents took me to. I was not yet educated enough to know or put my finger on exactly why, but something about what I suspected of its origin made me suspicious (well plus I was shy.) Oooh, Black music, jazz and Jew dancing, I am quivering in my timbers and mortified to the max. :-P I sure wasn’t educated about the bad racist factors of Henry Ford, his Hitler connection, and I think not even anything ever about anti-semitism in school. Thanks as always for the eye openers, Ms.Tucker! I wonder what Black country singers Charley Pride and Darius Rucker would have to say about this.
@@danielmolinar8669 you're still crying about this? Taken from my youtube playlists: Vaughn Williams, Prokofiev, Dvorak, Boccherini, Rachmaninoff, Mussorgsky and on it goes.
So wait a minute. The dancing was so bad that a black person, that was enslaved, most likely fearful of offending whites couldn’t take it anymore and had to tell them what to do to stay on rhythm? I’m dying!
What I have looked up. Thomas Edison was Anti Jewish also. He hated Al Jolson, I wondered why, till I just recent found out in a presentation Warner Brother's just put out in connection with their Centennial. The Development of sound in movies - He was deaf!
It being found that jazz musicians almost universally enjoyed cannabis led people to criticize and shun the genre. A rightfull and justified response to the statistical fact.

Thank you
