The Unity CEO is the ex-CEO of EA, the same guy who wanted to charge $1 for reloading your gun in a Battlefield game, and the guy who made Suda51 so depressed that he got washed and had to re-learn how to make video games, then he made No More Heroes III in which the main villain is based entirely on this EA CEO.
Also 2 months ago Unity merged with a company that developed malware, which is alarming when this is now happening immediately afterwards.
And before this he sold lots actions of unity

Unironically, Scratch is now actually a really good engine for making games
Basically some scratch mods, but still, for example Turbowarp, Gandi IDE, PenguinMod
There also some games made with turbowarp that are on steam too!

How about you just make an open source game engine made by community ? Make yourself actually useful by creating something that can generate games instead of just playing games, of course you're not going to make it by yourself cause i said by community but at least contribute something in the coding if there exist a github page trying to create it.

Turbowarp is basically scratch on steroids. You can remove unneeded limitations, it runs games like 10 times better and has a html/Java compiler built in, also cool extensions like cookie support and servers which i enjoy :)
Anyway if you think scratch sucks but know a bit about it go give turbowarp a try please
