    This is the second part of me helping my brother in law with his frozen shoulder. In part 1, I diagnosed and explained why we will need to deeply loosen each finger and thumb. In this video, I loosened his thumb that will lead to increased mobility throughout his arm and shoulder, thus preventing stiffness and possible injuries.

    I never realized how important hand massage could be until I started getting professional full body massages and they unexpectedly did my hands as part of that and wow, so much relaxation to my shoulders and consequently neck and back and whole body just from having those hands worked on.

    I just want to thank you. I just discovered your technique a few days ago. I have had trouble with my right side particularly my shoulder, neck, and jaw since I can remember. I have what I thought was a writers bump on my middle finger. I started working on it and almost right away I could feel tingling and loosening in my shoulder and jaw. Amazing you are god sent. Bless you. I can’t tell you how much pain I have struggled with almost my entire life.

      Raynor Massage | Brandon Raynor's School of Natural Therapies frozen shoulder, aka adhesive capsulitis occurs from inflammation, adhesions and fibrosis of the joint capsule, it has nothing to do with the fingers. Videos like this spread misinformation to patients, meaning you are doing your very clients a disservice.

      Richard Morris you are an arrogant idiot. You have no idea of what you are talking about. I just spoke to Saul this evening and he said his shoulder still feels better two months later. Arrogance and ignorance are such a bad combination in a person

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  5 років тому +3

      Richard Morris you are so ignorant that you think inflammation, adhesions and fibrosis are the cause of frozen shoulder. They are not the cause of the problem. They are just more symptoms of the problems. The problem is chronic residual tension in the muscles and tendons etc that make up what I call bands of tension. To get rid of the tension in these bands we need to work the fingers and toes first then follow that up to the larger muscles and fix the joints along the way.

      @@Rvns556 I was waiting for someone to
      point that out, the only "healing" result here is the microinflammation process in the tissue caused by the local traumatic treatment from the hard surface objects. I am pretty sure there are more reasonable types of manual therapies, which do not include such ridiculous invasive techniques, which can permanently damage connective tissue, nerve pathways, limbs, muscles and bones. Creating inflammatory response is used very precisely, breaking scar or adhesive tissue is possible without such pain, firing nerve pathways or releasing pressure from different body parts on them can be done with small adjustments, professional massages, applying medicine on the spot, sport, stretching, intelligent diet, in some bad cases with surgical help.. etc. but this... This is ridiculous. The only logical explanation for patients coming back for such kind of "Help" is that the pain activates regions in the brain, responsible for distributing neurotransmitters like dopamine, serotonin, adrenaline... The pain relief hormones, after the torture, are relaxing the body, the same way any other state of rest after hard training or a sports contest. Maybe people enjoy that treatment for the ASMR effect it creates, but the risk of micro tearings on soft blood, lymphatic vessels and especially non-regenerative nerve paths around the joints is still present.

    When you say bands, do you mean tendons or like the flow of energy?

    • @sevendoubleodex
      @sevendoubleodex Рік тому +1

      tendons, overwhelmed tendons that slightly swell causing the movement within the passage to become restricted. rolling over these tendons which brandon tends to do causes some relief

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  Рік тому

      Bands can be mostly physically felt, but they are physical manifestations of energetic pathways of chi or life force.

    You don't just "fix" a frozen shoulder

    • @brandonraynor
      @brandonraynor  Рік тому +1

      When you get rid of the tension that is causing a shoulder to be frozen and the shoulder is then able to move normally it fits the word fixed.
