Either because their teaching in the Word is so shallow that it bores me or their teaching doesn't line up with the Word of God. You are the only minister that I can learn from and can actually sit down and watch. The Word you have ministered has brought me back to life and has given me super spiritual strength. I thank God for you brother Curry. Thank you so much for preaching the unadulterated Word of God.

Curry's explanation of receiving a prophet's reward is spot on. I used to teach the exact same Bible study in Austin and in San Antonio; but Austin received me as a teacher while San Antonio received me as a prophet. Those meetings could not have been more different. Austin's meeting was purely academic; while San Antonio's meetings were filled with signs and wonders and prophetic ministry. It was entirely due to how I was received.
An amazing comment that brings to light the flaws in our human thinking. Human nature is to look at the pastor/teacher as being the most important factor in the process of growing in their faith and giftings. (ie finding the "right teacher!") When we often need to be examining ourselves and how we receive our teachers and receive what is being taught. I'll keep that in my awareness.

You cannot qualify as a prophet unless you can interpret the Bible correctly. If the time of the end is neither here nor there. Jesus Christ would not have spoken of it, and ask believers to know the sign of the times. The Jews did not recognize the time of their visitation because they erred in the scriptures, and were condemned as a result of it. The problem with being biblical illiterated in phrophecy is that the believers can be swept away with all kinds of false prophets.
Who are you to rebuke the sinners when Jesus has forgiven ALL their sins. Tell them and make them realize the redemption given to them once for all! If you rebuke them they will continue to be in their deeds because you are going to rebuke them any way ! If you tell them their war against sin is finished on the cross they behave redeemed! Isaiah 40:1,2 is your job!
I really enjoy and benefit from your teaching. But I must say I cannot understand why your making a virtue out of eating lousy, and being stubborn not tasting your wife's food. The bible talks about not being drunk on wine in essence, surely it doesn't mean you cannot have a glass every now and then with a meal ?
