@@johnorton4418 Policy is of 15 years in my State i.e. Uttar Pradesh, India. Can further extend up to 5 years more. So total 20 years are there. My Fiesta is of October 2007, completing 15 years this October. I would definitely extend it before expiry. I have driven it now about 235000km & still doing good.
Ford is a trusted brand. I am driving Ecosport since last 4 years and the maintenance cost is at par to other companies. Best part is its built quality....

This fiesta model was legendary it's diesel engine was first to claim a mileage of 32 kmpl...model after this was not good looking at all that's why it failed...and later discontinued.

I owned a Fiesta petrol 1.6 sxi (top model) from March 2007 to Oct 2020. Was planning to use it till it completed 20 years, but alas, it got drowned in the cellar parking last Oct during flash floods in Hyderabad. I have a brand new Ecosport diesel now, but it is no match for the power and handling of the Fiesta. It had completed 82000 kms and was running on the stock clutch. Was easy on maintenance too. Fuel efficiency in Hyderabad was 11 to 12.5, and on highways between 13.5 to 16.5, depending on speed of driving. Have driven it at 180 a few times, and it was rock stable. During the 13.7 years, i changed the timing belt and drive belt. I also changed the AC Evaporator coil in 2015. And the tie rods, brake discs/ pads, spark plugs once. This apart, service was easy on the pocket. I really miss the Fiesta.

Ford always presented good cars with responsive engines, good built & safety features but their maintenance was expensive in the past, hence are suffering with Sales nos till date. Of late they have localised components to great extent & are now offering affordable Spares & Services. But yet not been able to convince buyers about the same hence are suffering with Sales nos. Though I am not a Ford owner but I have great respect for their build quality, safety & services. We purchased Amaze Petrol over Aspire because it did not offer great rear seat comfort. Found rear Ingress-Egress less comfortable than Amaze. May God bless you both with everything best in life. Keep it up. We love your VDO's. 🙏👋👋👋
I too have Ford Fiesta Classic Diesel which is 2012 model. Its an excellent machine and loves highway drive. Only issue is the rusting near LH Rear view mirror.
More People will start switch into ford vehicles. As a ford owner, Maruti owners who haven't drive ford generally ask me iski service me to 8- 10 hazar lag jate honge . Ford service is all about ,changing engine oil ,filter etc..wear and tear of parts is less compare to other brands .

9 year old tyres need urgent replacement. Especially since this car loves highway runs. No matter if it's just 20k kms old. Ford old gen cars were known to be expensive to maintain. Only the new gen cars are cheap to maintain. Also any car above 1600cc falls in a higher insurance bracket. It would be nice if the owner went with a car with both airbags. But 2 lacs is a good deal
I had my own Ford fiesta 1.6Duratec October 2010 model but still it's getting smooth and suspension also fantastic even in off road. I love Ford company but now they shut down manufacturing plant so it's a bad luck but they started for manufacturing parts and it's a good thing. For the commuter those who have Ford cars.
I owned Fiesta 1.6s, most sportiest variant of Fiesta with 15inch alloy, lower springs, stiffer dampers and re-mapped ECU from Ford . Even in today's standards the driveability is unmatched.
Ford is able to make service costs down only because of outsourcing the spares i.e oil filter , bushings, gaskets , mounts and O rings from local OEM's in India. Back then they were outsourcing from imports .
Same thing happened with me but it happened to me in Chandigarh as here also there is a big market of second hand cars.I bought Ford fiesta ZXI model in 2017 December worth 2 lakhs( only 25000 km total ride) and from then to now this car performed like a true beast Sedan. I bought it from Army officer and this car was scratchless at that time(not even minor) but only issue is its mileage as it is only 12 kmpl in petrol in city rides. Also you need to keep in mind is "this is not a Maruti" as its only genuine spare parts are available in market.
Get a Lovato CNG kit fit in it.. it will give a mileage of 20kmpl in city with ac on single passenger occupancy. And in highways 25 kmpl. No power drop in it.
Recently in Nashik, Maharashtra a ciaz car by maruti caught fire while it was running on road.... and it got auto locked ...person driving the car couldn’t come out... and unfortunately died inside ...why do such incidences occur? How can a running car catch fire? What precautions should we take to avoid this ?
I have a Ford figo zxi 2010 model it's engine still feels so smooth and reliable. I would any day recommend a Ford car to go for it. My brother bought a second hand Ford figo 2012 model in 2017 and it still feels just so good to drive. A proud Ford owner from 2010.

Bhai i had a very bitter experience with ford fiesta, my family bought in 2007 diesel. Sabse pehle 1 saal main 12k Km pe clucth plates chale gaye 2006 main we paid 18k for it as parts were not available off market. Then disc pads khatam ho gaye uske bhi uss time pe 15k diye that to within one year of buying it. Finally sold it in 2007 as aur bhi bht kharcha mangti thi. I think that was 1st generation of ford jiski Abhishek bachhan brand ambassador tha.

And meri mom ki car thi woh, meri mom 1996 se car chala rahi hai, isse pehle 800 & Santro Xing rakhi thi usme yeh dikkat kabhi nahi aai. Might be that was the issue with that particular lot, but we had a bitter experience with ford and they didn't do anything about it.

I own a figo diesel 2012 model. Fun to drive, comfortable, spacious, rear seat can be folded completely flat, mileage 16- 17 on local roads, 19- 21 on highway with 5 passengers and fully loaded boot. Faced heat exchanger issue once after covered 54k . Service center quoted 35k but get it repaired in 7k at gurugram local market. Ford service centers are very professional and cooperative . Maintenance cost is pocket friendly. Its a myth tha owning a ford is expensive. Maintenance of swift is equal or higher than figo. Covered 1200 kms many times in a single go without a single stop without any trouble. Hydraulic steering feels very confident . Powerfull ac.Covered 64k as on date without any detect or un expected expense except heat exchanger. On road price was very low than the swift. Total value for money package. Very stable on express highways also at speed of 150 kmph.

Although it's a good car but I made some mistakes while buying and got a unhealthy car. But the only problem is spare parts availability.But I spent over 60K rs on it and now I am driving and enjoying its power:-)

9 year old tyres need urgent replacement. Especially since this car loves highway runs. No matter if it's just 20k kms old. Ford old gen cars were known to be expensive to maintain. Only the new gen cars are cheap to maintain. Also any car above 1600cc falls in a higher insurance bracket. It would be nice if the owner went with a car with both airbags. But 2 lacs is a good deal

I had my own Ford fiesta 1.6Duratec October 2010 model but still it's getting smooth and suspension also fantastic even in off road. I love Ford company but now they shut down manufacturing plant so it's a bad luck but they started for manufacturing parts and it's a good thing. For the commuter those who have Ford cars.

I owned Fiesta 1.6s, most sportiest variant of Fiesta with 15inch alloy, lower springs, stiffer dampers and re-mapped ECU from Ford . Even in today's standards the driveability is unmatched.
Ford is able to make service costs down only because of outsourcing the spares i.e oil filter , bushings, gaskets , mounts and O rings from local OEM's in India. Back then they were outsourcing from imports .
I bought Ford Fiesta 1.6 SXI ABS 2007 @ 90,000INR in 2017 and sold in 2020. This car is really delight for a driver.

Same thing happened with me but it happened to me in Chandigarh as here also there is a big market of second hand cars.I bought Ford fiesta ZXI model in 2017 December worth 2 lakhs( only 25000 km total ride) and from then to now this car performed like a true beast Sedan. I bought it from Army officer and this car was scratchless at that time(not even minor) but only issue is its mileage as it is only 12 kmpl in petrol in city rides. Also you need to keep in mind is "this is not a Maruti" as its only genuine spare parts are available in market.

Recently in Nashik, Maharashtra a ciaz car by maruti caught fire while it was running on road.... and it got auto locked ...person driving the car couldn’t come out... and unfortunately died inside ...why do such incidences occur? How can a running car catch fire? What precautions should we take to avoid this ?

Bhai i had a very bitter experience with ford fiesta, my family bought in 2007 diesel. Sabse pehle 1 saal main 12k Km pe clucth plates chale gaye 2006 main we paid 18k for it as parts were not available off market. Then disc pads khatam ho gaye uske bhi uss time pe 15k diye that to within one year of buying it. Finally sold it in 2007 as aur bhi bht kharcha mangti thi. I think that was 1st generation of ford jiski Abhishek bachhan brand ambassador tha.

And meri mom ki car thi woh, meri mom 1996 se car chala rahi hai, isse pehle 800 & Santro Xing rakhi thi usme yeh dikkat kabhi nahi aai. Might be that was the issue with that particular lot, but we had a bitter experience with ford and they didn't do anything about it.
*Hamari old Fiesta ka Hand brake ki Wire nahi mil rahi 2 year se. 😂 jo lever se brakes ko connect krti hai. Yahi dikkat rehti hai bas baad me.*

I own a figo diesel 2012 model. Fun to drive, comfortable, spacious, rear seat can be folded completely flat, mileage 16- 17 on local roads, 19- 21 on highway with 5 passengers and fully loaded boot. Faced heat exchanger issue once after covered 54k . Service center quoted 35k but get it repaired in 7k at gurugram local market. Ford service centers are very professional and cooperative . Maintenance cost is pocket friendly. Its a myth tha owning a ford is expensive. Maintenance of swift is equal or higher than figo. Covered 1200 kms many times in a single go without a single stop without any trouble. Hydraulic steering feels very confident . Powerfull ac.Covered 64k as on date without any detect or un expected expense except heat exchanger. On road price was very low than the swift. Total value for money package. Very stable on express highways also at speed of 150 kmph.

I bought a 2007 model second hand fiesta in 1.1 Lakh and I am 4th owner of it.
It runned over 70K kms while buying. Although it's a good car but I made some mistakes while buying and got a unhealthy car. But the only problem is spare parts availability.But I spent over 60K rs on it and now I am driving and enjoying its power:-)
