Although Michigan's 1st half scoring drives netted very few yards, they were set up by the previous long drives. Whereby Michigan moved the ball 72 yards in 11 plays, burning almost half the quarter, only to get stopped on 4th&1 at the OSU 3. Hall's INT set Michigan up for the TD where they had left off, deep in the OSU red zone. The FG was set up by a 68 yard punt, followed by an OSU 31 yard punt, leaving Michigan on the cusp of FG range. And like the TD drive, Michigan's drive that bridged the 3rd and 4th quarters went 77 yards in 15 plays and consumed 9:10, and although it ending with the sawyer INT to the UM 12, it also flipped field position. OSU would go 3 & out setting up the game winning drive that consumed 5:28 going 57 yards in 11 plays. Ten runs by Mulling's, including the game saving 27 yard gallop on 3rd&6 to the OSU 17 where he broke several tackles behind the line of scrimmage. Of Michigan's 9 pass completions, five went for 1st downs, including four 3rd down conversions. Those 1st down conversion yards comprised 87% (54 yards) of the passing total of 62 yards. Howard had no time to find his million dollar receiving corps, as OSU's OL was dominated by the Michigan DL. It was the no-name Michigan receivers that made the plays, including O'Leary's beautiful catch from Warrens' excellent throw that he made on the run while rolling out of the pocket. Do yall know ball? I'm not saying they couldn't have called more perimeter plays on the ground which they absolutely should have. But UM was in Base defense almost the entire game, bracketing their WRs, and taking away the middle. We saw what happened when they forced a pass. Hall INT. We saw what happened when they played Palms and Howard threw it to a covered zone (albeit with a pass rush in his face).... Paige INT. There's a reason they didn't throw it at certain looks, and a reason Michigan stayed in those looks. Because the d rush was mauling them up front. No run game and pressured passing game with 4 guys. HAIL TO THE VICTORS!
I know it was a much better game than a 41 -14 game.
I’ve seen many a 7-5/8-4 season end without beating either rival. This year we beat them both. I’ve seen worse
Wasn't expecting the Tool reference.
This hit YT earlier than usual. Go Blue!!
Ryan Day and Mark Richt looking at each other like the two spidermans meme....
The allegations we were waiting on? EAD.
It's tough to beat that
It's not just a bad called game, it was good execution of a defense gameplan to take it away
Michigan needs to start playing Notre Dame more often because we are all out of rivalries.
I dont think ive watched a Valenti video this many times since "make plays"
Ryan's face was red because he was embarrassed.
Nov. 30 is the greatest day in UM history even better than the natty
Ryan Day is Coach Klein in the movie Water Boy Coach Moore is Red Beaulieu
Coach Klein if he didn't utilize Bobby Boucher and said 'just stick to water Bobby'.
Donovan Edwards has never lost to ohio State !!
Rico the new AD at Ohio State would owe Ryan Day something, his $35M buyout.🤣🤣🤣
Hopefully this video can break last years views @ 62k 😂
