Fascinating, your analysis of Mitra was truly interesting. I must confess I did a short video on him, but much prefer your video on him, I've watched this analysis before and yet it was only as I was listening just now that I truly appreciated the depth of your knowledge and just how much lore there is surrounding Mitra.
Just subscribed. I really like your presentation here. I'm a huge REH fan & you explain Howard's Conan as better then any other channel I've come across. The CYBRARIAN is a great channel as well but it's just the story's of Howard and no explanation of the world. Besides Frazetta (to easy), who is your favorite CONAN artist? Thanks for video. ⚔️
I have an answer. I know you were not asking me, but one artist does stand out for me. I've begun collecting old The Savage Sword of Conan comics. Joe Jusko painted fantastic covers for that magazine.
@@lordzaboem ya. Jusko is a great one. Forgot about him. He always did perfect anatomy. Mine was John Buscema w/ Ernie Chan inks in Savage Sword. Conan
Thank you! yeah Frazetta number one obviously but i think the obvious second choice is Ken Kelly, like the painting "People of the Black Circle" is absolutely iconic just like Frazettas best. Another one is Boris Vallejo though some see him just as kind of second tier frazetta i guess? i dunno i love his cover for the trade paperback of volume one of the Savage Sword of Conan by Dark Horse, that is one of my fav conan pantings aswell. Brom is a newer one for me which i yet haven't become so familiar with so i dont know much of his work but they look great aswell. Then theres obviously Barry Windsor-Smith and John Buscema etc.
Now that I got your attention, how tall would you say the Giant-Kings from Conan Exiles lore are in feet? Not Tyros or those abnormally tall skeletons that were probably also hybrids in life. I mean the "pure" ones. I can only guess at least 13 feet...
Crom laughs at your Four Winds, He laughs from his mountain.
I have been looking forever for Conan lore videos and found this channel, great job!!
Crom laughs at your Four Winds, He laughs from his mountain… My god is stronger, He is the everlasting sky! Your god lives underneath
You know, I've never thought of Mitra as being analogous to Christianity. I will give that matter some thought.
Great channel. The way it looks and sounds, I'm sure your subscription count will keep improving. It's on of my favorite channels.
Hey thank you very much! motivating stuff that. Thank you for watching and liking the content, this all just started with having some fun :)

Great work!
Have you done one of these on Set?
Not as of yet...
Mitra is a Zoroastrian Ahura in real life.
Very interesting.
We Hindus still invoke Mitra in some of our prayers although his worship has mostly faded away just like other vedic deities.
*real Mitra liked this video*
Mitra sounds a lot like Zeus/Jupiter
So he's basically God?
Yes, though some differing things..
