Funny how Steph gets over 30 min and scores over 30 points. Steve Kerr is the REAL DPOY, cause hes the only man in the league who can stop Steph without traps & doubles.
Well the thing is Steph has been playing more than 30 min, he just needs to give Steph the fuckin ball instead of making him run circuses around the wing and baseline to try and get open ever play. Like switch it goddamit haha
@warriorsbreakdown That too. It's like Kerr is trying to run an egalitarian offense. No. You got 1 all-world HOFer who can create shots. Give him the ball & let him work.
@@GregKing-o9j That man kerr is a weirdo. He tries so hard to turn curry into a role player playing off ball. Curry PnR is always a good shot for yhe warriors but kerr wants to call whack off ball plays all 80% of the time.
Also, can Kerr please stop playing with Steph's minutes?!?! When I've watched games this year, Steph will make 2 or 3 shots then he's subbed out, then 2 min later back in, then 2 min later back out, then 2 min later, back in....Steph can't catch a rhythm or get enough shots up.
Literally let Steph bring up the ball, run a pick and roll and see what the defense gives you. Because I've watched enough plays where defenses don't flinch when Dray/GP2/Loon has the ball at the top of the key just looking for an open backdoor that might happen once per quarter lol
@@warriorsbreakdown Yeah, I think Kerr is married to running an offense that Requires 2 Elite Distance Shooters + 3 Elite Role Players...(now minus the 2nd Elite Shooter). Have to adapt. Can't just romanticize what used to work. The Triangle was also wayyy less effective when it didn't have 2 top 10 players (Knicks)
While it's fashionable to lambaste Gobert, he's not the issue. What your clips show is that Minnesota has lost the concept of team defense, which just so happens to have coincided with them bringing on Randle. Rudy is playing his part, but appears to be exposed when his teammates don't play theirs.
Very true , It appears that Randall & Rudy do not a match make …. I loved Julius on the Knicks , but more often than not he can be a liability . lol but even before Randall Steph loves to ruin Rudy’s night .
Absolutely fair, I think Gobert is a great defensive player, obviously. His weaknesses get exposed when there are onball deep shooters, and lack of perimeter defense. The perimeter defenders were weak yesterday, plus Randle is a cone. I really dislike Randle, both offensively and defensively lol. I think he is a rhythm killing
But if you think about how they built a big lead, its because Wolves can't hit a shot for like 6-7 mins in the first half. Then Wolves start hitting 3s in 2nd half, that's actually normal to happen against the Warriors coz they always help too much on the drives since they are small. Wolves, especially Ant is good at drive n kick out
"Can we please get more on ball action for Curry". That and having more Center play, please. But in reality what are we truly going to get? Draymond at the 5, tinier lineups( dray 5, 3 guards and Wiggs/JK at the 4) with LESS steph on ball PNR, and MORE motion offense with Draymond holding the ball at the top of the key 😂
At the end of day it depends on the matchup we get, but I'm tired of seeing Dray at the 5 for extensive period of time, and just 4 dudes running around on the wing and wastes 20 seconds of the shotclock without Steph like, actually touching the ball. Because the defense can smell it out by now
@warriorsbreakdown I almost feel like the motion offense benefits Draymond more than Curry now a days. If Draymond was relegated to stand in the corner or just set screens, I wonder if that impacts his engagement on the defensive side. It's almost like how Randle or Ant didn't want to feed Gobert when he's open near the basket 😂(in other Twolves games). Not the same 1 for 1 comparison though.
@@berserkmonk5331 Oh absolutely, the whole point of motion offense is to exploit Steph's shooting gravity and create great looks for others. Definitely different strategy, but teams guard it way better than they were 7-9 years ago ahah
Ok, but the Warriors press made it a point that it’s Shroo- der, so either Dennis is ok with his name being mispronounced or it’s the correct pronunciation.
Actually, when Dennis pronounces it, it’s kind of halfway between Shroo and Shrow. He probably is giving people the sound that he thinks is closer since there really isn’t a vowel equivalent in American English.
Dude I dont know man, if you watch the interview with the Raptors on UA-cam, he says it pretty close to "Shrooder". Now I'm not German so I still might not be pronouncing it fully accurate, but in no way am I hearing "shrow-dur"
@@warriorsbreakdown in that interview, you can actually hear something closer to "schruh-duh", but in a recent one (where he introduces himself to Dub Nation), you quite clearly hear him pronounce it as "Shrow-duhr". Love this debate btw 😂😂
what no one brings up is Draymond Green being in the game causes them playing the old warriors way, it's the only way he can play...it's low key the elephant in the room and everyone keeps asking for more classic plays but it's the draymond issue, he unfortunately needs to be traded, great player but no longer fits
Nah u wrong, because we need Draymond scoring, the problem is the coaching, draymond has already adjusted his game to spot up shooter, one of the best 3 point shooters on the team, so get your facts right, this is on coaching with kerr love for 3 man gaurds, starts the game with a big line up finishes with the smallest possible, it's funny how they held wolves to 15 points 1q and less than 40 2q
I disagree. Even having Draymond set on-ball pick and rolls is a good switchup from him directly traffic up top with his defender deep in a drop. I just need more switchups from motion offense here and there
@warriorsbreakdown what does draymond do once he sets a pick though that's my point, bogus, iguodala and Livingston allowed them to play th draymond way, not anymore, there's no role for him
@Teek4Tat what does he do though, he shoots threes and gets lucky at times with his 15 lbs its seems like he's carrying on his back while shooting, no mid range, no inside game, he's not a perimeter player, he needs to be traded so Davis and kuminga can play without his loud self in their ears
Forget a defensive set. I will never understand these confusions. Where in any case, the guy closest to the ball should ALWAYS pick up. Dont care if it's your man or not, cuz at the end of the day, miscommunications lead open shots. You can try to teach it, but you cant always expect another player to see what you see.
Well I think cuz he repeatedly got beat on the perimeter, Gobert just needs to be in the paint. But if his guy is going up high to set a screen, in order to pre-switch, that takes another level of communication for the defense. I dont think Minnesota is there
Schröder's (Shrow-duhr) pass to Curry on that dagger wasn't even great, Steph nearly had to pick up the ball off the floor. 😅😂 But luckily there was enough time to get the shot off. 😊🙏

"Can we please get more on Ball action for Curry... Pick & Roll..." This is what Park keeps stressing. Along with proper positional size

Respectfully disagree, Dray having a solid season thus far, aside from some reckless decisions, he’s still a key player for the Warriors.
