Hopefully you guys enjoyed the rules bit! I can leave it out going forward and just throw it in the description or here in the comments, but I do feel explaining it just in case helps make the game more enjoyable!
Fun thing about the intro clip: The game is designed so you can never mathematically prove someone's lying about a card throw. Even if you have a hand of five queens, and someone else tosses three cards in, it could be that they had 1Q 2J, and every other card throw that round has been a lie. (Of course, tricking someone into thinking you've done the "math" is its own form of tactical psychology)
Another thing about the game that should be noted is that you never have a reason to combine a bluff card with an actual card. If you are going to bluff, the optimal strategy is to always use all bluff cards when possible.
@@ShaggyRogers1There is one reason, if you have two bluff cards and the rest are safe you can throw in one extra card to make it more believable as a three card play instead of a two card play. Cheesy even picks up on this later on and begins to call out those who only play two cards in the beginning of the round.
@@Xerolyx99 "when possible", I already included such a possibility in my analysis. My point is that if you are going to bluff with one card, there is no reason to include an actual card if you don't need to for the play.
It's a fun card game, though we initially called it Bullshit, because that's what we'd call out if we thought the person was lying. The objective was to be the first with an empty hand and everytime someone called Bullshit, either they or the one they called out ends up picking up the entire stack of cards.
I love how much you gotta put on a Poker Face & Voice irl to even have a chance to win but it's even more hilarious to know your first mistake *could literally be your last, which happened for a few her.* 😂😅
I just watched Chilled's perspective and it was absolutely hilarious watching you animate the fox character with your camera movements, especially when you almost bite the dust. This is a great game to watch multiple perspectives on. I think this would be a perfect VR title.
you don't want to throw out all your table cards at once. because the other player just has to have some so the first few cards could be off table but mid throws. that will increase the chance of not getting called on your bluff later on.
On Liar’s Deck, if you’re going to bluff one of your cards, you might as well make all of them a bluff since if you get called out you lose anyway, but if you get away with it, you have a valid card(s) still in your hand to play.
Added the game to my Steam list. It looks pretty cool. I also like the irony it has funny animal people characters despite it's rather dark and lethal game concept. Apparently, they're adding new characters later too.
Fun lil fact, you can play liars dice in “Red Dead Redemption 1” and Remake also Online. You play for cash though so standard bid vs for your life. I did not know a card version existed though only the dice one.
I LOVED playing this game with Family and Friends. I was known as "the little *shxt*" who always called 6-7 One's round 1 and kept going exponentially higher and just being a general menace.
@@spelcheak Depending on how people edit it, it's not. Some people just jump around and don't include context. Also what's your deal? Zero reason to be copping an attitude. Waste of time and energy. Dude didn't say anything wrong. Treat people with a bit more kindness.
also with the dice it becomes "easier" the less players there are with 4 players there are 20 dice in total and you only know 5 of them so you have to guess about 15 dice with 2 players there are only 10 dice and you know 5 of them and have to only guess about the other 5 dice the cards are the opposite it becomes harder to predict the less people there are there are 20 cards (6Q+6K+6A+2J=20 cards) so with 4 people all the cards are taken so you know that there are 8 of any kind there as the jokers count for whatever you need with 2 people you still get 5 cards and the other person gets 5 making 10 cards total, meaning it is theoretically possible to have a round where NEITHER of the players has ANY cards the table calls for, it could be an aces table and you only have 5 queens and your oponent only has 5 kings, it is also possible that almost all cards on the table between 2 players are entirely what the table calls for so with the dice the less players there are the more information you have, with the cards the less players there are the less information you have
People have been playing liar's dice and BS in cards for a very long time. In liars dice case for centuries. Usually they dont include Russian Roulette into it but I'm sure insane people have done it before.
Both Liar's Deck & Liar's Dice are real games. Liar's Dice is even played in a scene from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, with Will playing the game with Bootstrap Bill (his father) and Davy Jones. It's a great scene too.
They should put in more games into the mix. Like making bets on how many of a certain card other players have based on whats in your hand. Instead of playing the cards, you have to guess how many there is in other players hands.
If no one has mentioned it yet, there is a card game actually called "Bullshit". The way it plays is you want to get all cards out your hand, and you can play a max of 4 min of 2. All rounds you draw a card. If you are called out you pick up the cards played as they are all put face down when played
I've seen this episode from another angle before (on Chilled Chaos' channel) and I enjoyed it as much as I did here. (the last round was fun on his channel to see the dead's vision)
It's basically like playing the card game B.S. except this has less cards and with BS you use a full deck sometimes two depending on how many people are playing. It's kinda similar
If you liked this you should go watch the others pov too. Kruz' chaos n the foxes animations are a joy to watch from anothers perspective! Great game with an awesome bunch
This is Liars poker, and I used to take a few hundred off the car salesman at the bar I worked at, everyone starts with a $20 bill, and your numbers is your serial number on the bill
Chilled shouldn’t feel bad about about the second round being live in liars deck, I was watching the goons video on this earlier and yumi had it be the first bullet the first two rounds lmao
also also 23:26 : with liars deck never ever ever ever mix a card the table calls for and a card that is a lie because there is no upside to do so, only downsides you play two cards your oponent will either call it a bluff or play his own cards if he calls the bluff and both are the card the table calls for - you live neither card is what the table calls for - you die if only one card is a card the table calls for - you still die if he plays his own cards instead of calling your bluff it literally doesnt matter what you played so by mixing "good" and "bad" cards youre effectively turn a good card that has absolutely no downsides for you into a bad card that can get you killed, you could have 999 good cards and 1 bad card in your hand and it would still count as a lie and get you killed so mixing good and bad cards has only downsides
Saw this game from the others’ perspectives. I’d love to see you guys play more of both those Liar’s games. Also, Kruz does make for a good pretty little vixen! 😊
Any game you play with these 3 is always funny to watch lol…. But, what is this world coming to where we have a video game of RUSSIAN ROULETTE?!?!….. that won’t be around for long….
This is the version I've always known. I think it'd lose a lot of its character & each round would be super truncated if you were only betting your dice
Hopefully you guys enjoyed the rules bit! I can leave it out going forward and just throw it in the description or here in the comments, but I do feel explaining it just in case helps make the game more enjoyable!
I needed the rules bit so I can get a firm grip on what's going on. Reggie's Wife could learn a thing or 2
you to put one card not all of them
Personally I would like it to be in the description or comments. Loved the video had me dying the entire time
I had to skip back like 3 times cause i zoned out. Not on you, thats on my attention span 😂❤
I take this isn't like the "Bar Games" version from Accolade in the 80's when "aces/ones are wild".
The head nodding and shaking killed me.
It's WAY too funny LOL
The character head movements and suspicious side glances are so good this was a great group for the mind games
I'm hoping they add in more animals ngl HAHA

That "Don't fail me now" was crazy
the visceral screams really brings out a hilarious intensity to the game.
I watched this from chilled's perspective first and when you called out lying in the beginning, I knew exactly what you were doing😂
I love how much you gotta put on a Poker Face & Voice irl to even have a chance to win but it's even more hilarious to know your first mistake *could literally be your last, which happened for a few her.* 😂😅
They missed the chance to use the line: Oh, right. The poison. The poison for Kruz, the poison chosen especially to kill Kruz, Kruz's poison.
This feels like "Bullsh*t" with extra steps lmao
The similarity of Kruz and the fox is uncanny
I so hope you play more of this, it's so funny to watch plus both game modes are funny as hell to play against your friends/other creators.
This was the most i laugh in a long time.😂 I choked on my water. Platy at the end when you gaslighted him. Mathematically not possible had me dying.
Mathematically, that must be the girl math I've heard about on social media.

Way to make me feel old.. Liars dies has existed since the 1600's. and both liars dies and liars card were popular in the 70's and 80's :D
Been watching so many youtubers play this. It’s been so hilarious to watch. They need to add a tournament mode or something.
13:54 you screaming for nothing 😂😂😂😂😂
that was the most intense round of this game ive see so far.
Thank you for taking the time to explain the rules!! I've seen this around YT and couldn't keep up with what was happening.
😒 It’s very easy to figure out if you just see one round
@@spelcheakfor you maybe, for some people its not. Dont be a dickhead loser especially the dice game
@@spelcheak Depending on how people edit it, it's not. Some people just jump around and don't include context. Also what's your deal? Zero reason to be copping an attitude. Waste of time and energy. Dude didn't say anything wrong. Treat people with a bit more kindness.
@spelcheak I also figure it out by seeing 1 or 2 rounds. but you dont need to give that kind of attitude
also with the dice it becomes "easier" the less players there are
with 4 players there are 20 dice in total and you only know 5 of them so you have to guess about 15 dice
with 2 players there are only 10 dice and you know 5 of them and have to only guess about the other 5 dice
the cards are the opposite it becomes harder to predict the less people there are
there are 20 cards (6Q+6K+6A+2J=20 cards) so with 4 people all the cards are taken so you know that there are 8 of any kind there as the jokers count for whatever you need
with 2 people you still get 5 cards and the other person gets 5 making 10 cards total, meaning it is theoretically possible to have a round where NEITHER of the players has ANY cards the table calls for, it could be an aces table and you only have 5 queens and your oponent only has 5 kings, it is also possible that almost all cards on the table between 2 players are entirely what the table calls for
so with the dice the less players there are the more information you have, with the cards the less players there are the less information you have
Not only did she say the same thing the character did when she sneezed a ad popped up
Lawls.. Actually kind of wished you put in the next round where Chilled domed himself on the first bullet and ya'll restarted. xD That was hilarious.
9 5's is FUCKING WILD almost half the dice on the table where 5's
This would make a great IRL game no lie
@@RawGeansai it actually is! I’ve played the card version before, it’s actually called Bullsh*t lmao

Three cards?, someone's got a death wish
They were all holding on by a string
Mathematically, any of 0, 1, 2, and 3 is possible for any singular choice.
The dice one is actually a chinese drinking game where if u lose the bid u drink, and its often played in asian bars
I love this game mostly because I get to do statistical analysis. I got to remember all about the binomial distribution I learned about in college
I felt the tension just watching this my leg wouldn''t stop shaking
First time I seen someone compare it to pirates of the Caribbean. Kept thinking of it myself.
3:59 William Turner of Pirates of the Caribbean my good old friend
Ok now this is funny asf. Almost peed my pants.
this is exactly how any of the card games i play go i have no idea of the rules and i always need a chaperone for the games telling me the rules
I LOVE the dice version, I cant wait to see more!!!
watching this one live was so fun
it really keeps you at the edge of your seat lol

Beautiful chaos!
I'm not understanding why a player would want to lie in any situation
Chicken little dad in the background
Saw Chilled's video on this, had me cracking up. Now watching again from Kruz perspective.
Bro, i love this low budget tumbnails FR ❤
Oh my god me and my buddies played a drinking game very similar to this when we were fresh out of high school 😂

Dude! I loved this game in Red Dead Redemption. The only game I was most profitable in.
This game is weird. It gives me uncanny valley vibes. And I'm not a furry, but that fox... Its Nick Wilde's sister all the way lol

with liars deck never ever ever ever mix a card the table calls for and a card that is a lie because there is no upside to do so, only downsides
you play two cards
your oponent will either call it a bluff or play his own cards
if he calls the bluff and
both are the card the table calls for - you live
neither card is what the table calls for - you die
if only one card is a card the table calls for - you still die
if he plays his own cards instead of calling your bluff
it literally doesnt matter what you played
so by mixing "good" and "bad" cards youre effectively turn a good card that has absolutely no downsides for you into a bad card that can get you killed, you could have 999 good cards and 1 bad card in your hand and it would still count as a lie and get you killed so mixing good and bad cards has only downsides
