Japhet, I'm a Mechanical Engineer so I understand what Milan does. Milan's Company is a big Machine Shop that fabricates Machine parts. All kinds of machine parts which depends on the customer's order. Milan is a master machinist because he has a lot of experience.
It seems Milan is a nice guy 👍. Open day is also for family members because the company consider the families as members of the company, it creates cohesiveness and strong teamwork; and also promotes the company and may encourage interested applicants. Most stable companies does this. One of my recumbent Trike I use on cycling is made by AZUB company from Czechoslovakia.

I’m so glad you included your extended family in your videos. I must say, as an old retired Millwright here in USA, I’m very impressed with Milan’s work and recognize all of it. I’m surprised that I didn’t see any CNC machines. Milan’s specialty work is becoming a lost art in our world and more High Schools should encourage young adults to pursue this very rewarding career.

Malaking company pala dyan sa Czech ang company ni Milan...Malalaki ang CNC machines nila nakita ko sa website nila. More than 20 years na ang company, so isa sya sa pioneer ng company. Ang mga parts nila ay ginawa sa CNC machines, precision machines. Kung operator ka ng ganyang machines, meron sa atin na vocational course na tinuturo na basic kung paano mag-operate ng ganyang type ng machine, be it lathe and milling both conventional o CNC na need ng programming.
Wow..good Japeth Boy you have showed it in your blog...You know, I can relate that job and I missed it. I worked as a machinist when I'm in 20's here in the Phil and in Kuwait as an OFW. Only in Milan's case the machine is already computerized. We used then a manual machine 40 years ago...Amazing!!!!

It is a fact that in America and almost all Western countries a blue collar job like the one that Milan is employed received a much higher salary than the white collar (office worker) job.

So machinists make the metal parts, assemblers put parts together to make cars or pipes, mechanical engineers design the cars or pipes. So Open Day is for entire public, Family Day for relatives.
