Owned a Scout 2....348 V8, 78 model. Least fuel efficient vehicle I ever owned, but I once pulled a 3/4 ton Dodge Club Cab off a boulder with it, uphill....ridiculously short gear ratio. Very slow steering box too...like 5 turns lock to lock. If you buy one of these, watch your shins...the doors have no detents and won't stay open
My Dad had one when I was a kid and it was a great little truck!
That’s awesome! These old trucks are very special
I have two 62s one 63

There’s a big following
My very first vehicle was a (used) 1965 Scout !
2wd with half-cab, 3-speed floor-mount, and
196 cid 4-cylinder engine.
No way! I’d love to see picture if you have them

We had TWO in our family!
That’s awesome. Send pics
I wish I had pics.
I owned two. A 1968 800 parts truck, and a 1969 800A daily driver. Both were V8 trucks. I miss my '69.
They are great trucks & have really shot up in value the last couple of years
My Dad’s cousin, Woodrow Wilson Tyndale,Woody bought a new 4300 truck tractor in 1975 and a Diesel Scout.
The new Broncos look closer to the Scout than they are the vintage Broncos.
Loved this vid. Very informative and well put together. Much respect that a woman did this! Love to see it
Thanks
I have a 1961 Scout with a three digit serial number one of the first thousand. It's my favorite car I drive it all the time

They were real dumbasses for getting rid off the scout
