- The United States Women's National team is celebrating victory as World Cup champions. After beating the Netherlands 2-0 in Sunday's final, they hoisted the trophy for the second consecutive tournament. Now New York City is welcoming home the champions with a ticker tape parade. CBS New York's Ali Bauman reports.
Do the players in the WNBA get the same pay as players in the NBA? No because the WNBA doesn't generate nearly the revenue that the NBA does.

That's because they're girls
It's not about hate. It's about fighting for the same American rights as everyone else. Those rights are the basic principles that make this country amazing. The 2018 mens world cup final was between Croatia and France. I wouldnt take that stat seriously.
Check the stat for most viewed soccer match in America, it was the 2015 Women World Cup final in Canada. That is a difficult record to beat this year when Americans have to watch the kick off at 8-11am since it was in France.

counterparts is because the quality is not at the same level, if men's

Adam I think using woman’s soccer as political issue is not really supportive and actually has driven US fans from the US woman’s team support. Women’s soccer pay is a set % of total earning, strictly a piece of the gate. You keep making women’s soccer some woman’s pay issue, or the gay issue, or just an “I hate President Trump” issue, you’ll have no fans or supporters very quickly.
