- We’re inviting you on a trip to Western Norway, to see the places that were important in the creation of our new album Heimdal. Grutle Kjellson tells the tale of the location where our band photos were taken in the first episode. A story of great burial mounds and...telephone communication towers? 🧐

Here is a man I’d love to share a beer with. Hail the mighty Enslaved!!💪🏻
"out with the sacred and in with the profane, there's a buck to be made..."
A sad tale, cheers for that beer in London all those years ago Grutle. Was an honour.
its sad sorry hear what happened to burial mound. well hope all goes well, set up my travels to see you live in your Country.
Can't wait for Heimdal! Would love to see you guys down in Australia and New Zealand soon too 🤟🏻
It might even be that they summoned all of you to this place to give a things!
Removed for things that were removed 25 years after being built smh I hate big companies sometimes
Totally agree Grutle, whenever I’ve visited the burial mounds there is a special deep feeling. Not a very “Metal” thing for me to say but I was brought to tears on one visit. Appreciate Enslaved showing reverence.
A pleasant windy day
This is what I have always admired about Europe! Ancient monuments and timeless history..but unfortunately we are looking at living in floating buildings in the sky.
I was listening to Frost on a walk in Maine, USA as it started to go back in our last deep freeze.
Hails, Capricorn brother!
The price of progress and profit in order to remove history, and artifacts. I'm very glad that orated history is still around to preserve the memories. Thanks for sharing!
Where was it located exactly? I'd like to find it on a map.
I have a weakness: I like to listen to smart men against the backdrop of beautiful views.
A damn shame about the burial mound.
kor e da?
Each few times there's been a conservative party heading the government in Norway, they have taken terrible decisions regarding the preservation of the country's heritage...
