Louis, for the gas purchase issue I'm pretty sure you can buy like an AMEX or Visa gift card and use it like a credit card at the pump.
I always dig when you tour America because it offers a different perspective from what I'm used to.

For pay at the pump, I've heard that you can enter just the numbers (skipping letters) from your billing postcode and then add zeros until you have 5 digits, so you can give that a try.

You should get a pre-paid VISA card that you can load money onto and then use that for the gas. It is used like a debit card so you shouldn't have issues with paying at the pump.
That bike path along the beach is one of my favorite bike rides here in LA
I live like 15 minutes from Lake Tahoe, NV! I recommend you visit sand harbor and zephyr cove!

I've actually done that path between Santa Monica and Venice beach. I made it a priority while I had a trip to LA. Pretty much everyone else spent that day sunbathing, I just cycled the beach, it was very pleasant :)

louis its good that you pay with cash at the pump cause its cheaper. gas stations usually increase prices if pay by credit. just a little fyi if you havent noticed.
maybe its different where you are from. i just assume every where else is the same. in the bay area, as far as i know, all of them charges more if pay with credit card.

I'm not quite sure if this works but I think if you get an American Express gift card from one of the American Express currency exchange post at any US International Airport like LAX for instance, you can reload that card and use the airports zip code to get gas. Since American Express is a global bank used specifically for travel you can reload at the pump and again use the zip code of the place of purchase. This may not work with Visa gift cards purchased at Walmart or Target though, please bare in mind.

LOUIS you know what the capacity of your tanks are ? You know what MPG you get with your bus you can do a little math and calculate the fuel required and get the fuel rather quickly. You make the money Louis why don't you have an assistant cover these task? Even if you hire people from a temp service you can get them to make all these changes you need. Also if you have tint on the front windows or not that would go a long way in keeping the UV out and heat.
