His thoughts were confirmed one night when he was at some sort of event where they were getting drunk. In that event, she had revealed her true colours to him and as a result he was stunned. He keeps on saying that Jamie wasn't herself when she was drunk when in reality this is just denial. The reason that he commits suicide at the end is because he realized that what he thought of her was all an illusion and that she broke his heart. What do you think happened?
