Hi Kealy!! Love your sewing plans.. Also would love to hear more about your recording of your sewing journal too.. Can’t wait to see what you make this year.... 💜💜💜🧵🧵🧵
My favourite is style arc patterns but I've just discovered pattern emporium. My Palazzo pants are nearly finished and I think I'm going to love them xx
Hi Kealy, loved this vlog and I think the sewing bingo idea is great 👌😁. I've recently bought a sewing pattern from a French company called Atelier Jupe...who also do lovely fabrics, which I'm sure you might have already heard of. I bought a top called Zoey and I think you might like it. They also have some other lovely looking patterns that I think you might like...worth a look 👍😊. A Happy and Healthy New Year to you and let's hope we have lots to celebrate later on in the year 🙏💞😘
I would love to hear more about how you record things in your sewing journal. I should do better at recording my makes and planning it a bit so am interested to see how others do it :)
I have had to trim back my sewing and clothing budget, and returned to the Big 4 in patterns when on sale since it was too costly to continue buying the independent designer patterns plus printing the digi ones involved too much paper and ink for my restricted retirement income to keep up with. Occasionally I still purchase an independent pattern if I can find a preprinted version. I also own some older Ottobre magazines and Sew Beautiful magazines that have patterns included and I am newly excited to use them. I stopped sewing new clothes for myself a dozen years ago when I gained weight, but my weight loss quarantine project resulted in my loss of 30 lbs and I am anxious to recreate a new wardrobe that fits, my reward well earned. I should nite that even though I had stopped sewing I continued purchasing fabric, so my stash is generous and offers all sorts of options.
Well done for being successful in your weight loss project. Its such an exciting time for you to sew yourself some lovely new clothing. I will look into the magazines, its always interesting to see the range of patterns they feature. Thanks for watching😊
I love Ottobre Magazine- they mainly do kids patterns but twice a year they do magazines for women and occasionally for whole family. They have amazing patterns. And they are brilliant value. I also love Sinclair patterns, New Hoirizon and Ellie and Mac
There are sooo many fabulous pattern companies out there! Have a look at George and Ginger and 5 out of 4 patterns for some really different jersey makes. Ellie and Mac’s Autumn Spice tee is a great scrap buster, as is their Discoverer tee and Scrappy top. WinterWear Designs, Made for Mermaids, Pattern Emporium are great too, as is The Sewing Revival. 😁👍
Love the colour of the cords.why not add a front band to the green cord, that will give you more room. You could always take in the sides at the top of that's then too wide. I think using your stash is important as it seems a waste to have fabric just sitting there x
-Sew house seven patterns are really nice with great instructions. - I also really like Pattern Emporium patterns because there are so many variations within each pattern and the instructions are very detailed with tips on many ways to modify (color block, added trim etc) her you tube videos are great for seeing them in action and all the ways you can style them. Pattern union pattern instructions have something new to learn in every one...with links to youtube videos to watch how to do. - I have not made it yet but I really like the Dulcie pinafore by Jennifer Lauren Handmade... I think this would be cute on you since you like the Helens closet pinafore
@@VoiceofaCreative that's okay - maybe i'm doing it wrong - i can't seem to buy just one box - perhaps that's the problem - i'll power through - the boxes are so cute!
We love a UFO good luck and look forward to seeing them finished

Hi Kealy really enjoyed this video. I have tried to subscribe to paper gang but the code isn’t working. Was it only for a limited time?
It doesn’t seem to be working. i have emailed them to say it isn’t working and hopefully they will get back to me soon.
@@VoiceofaCreative thank you so much
HIya - the papergang subscription looks SO cute, I tried your code but to no avail. Any advice? :-)
Thats strange, i will email them to check it.
They just said you need to enter the code PGKEALY at checkout.
@@VoiceofaCreative No sadly it doesn't work. I've tried it on each type of subscription
@@emilymoss89 i got them to check it and it should work. I’m so sorry about this.
@@VoiceofaCreative that's okay - maybe i'm doing it wrong - i can't seem to buy just one box - perhaps that's the problem - i'll power through - the boxes are so cute!
