Teach these guys how to slide. If Suzuki hook slides with his toe, he is not only safe, he doesnt get smacked in the head. Same with the next runner, safe, but only just. A hook slide and the catcher isnt even close. This is the bigs. That is fundamental baseball.
@@vic-zv4bb I was ok. Executing fundamentals is so basic. Anyone who has played knows this. Many get into bad habits as they play. It's up to coaching not to let that get out of hand. I did manage amateur teams for a while, quite frankly. Fundamentals are extremely necessary to the game and should always be properly executed. It saves unnecessary outs. As I have mentioned, anyone who has played knows this. People who only sit and comment . . . . would not. Ma'am :)
