pushing the sound to the limit isn't what defines the quality of music.
Music can be viewed in a monotone, scientific manner: as nothing more than "brain likey pattern, brain likey when good sounds come together after bad sound"
But in reality, music allows us the express the very essence of our souls. That's what a good artist is, someone who manages to show their souls to people without holding back, or hiding anything.

@@justyouraveragehumanbeing7411 I agree with this entirely... But at the same time the music of today wouldn't have been possible without the efforts of musicians yesterday... The main goal was to make better music than could communicate their will better to the listeners... That purpose requires innovation after innovation and running away from stagnant waters... The amount of feeling we can get today from a song is only possible because someone else in the past worked hard to ask questions and find answers to those questions... But what do you think tho? Thank u so much for ur comment

@@W.I.L26 I agree that innovation is important, but even still I believe that being true to yourself is more important.
Someone could make a very old school, 80s rock song, and as long as they're putting their soul into it, people would listen to it and love it, even if it doesn't try to innovate the genre
