- So, hier folgt nun der 2. Part:
Das Binding von Farbe mittels einer Ziehklinge oder einer Rasierklinge säubern. Sollte sehr scharf sein.
Viel Spaß beim Zuschauen und wie immer Fragen und Kommentare sind erwünscht.
An entire video of him scraping the binding , yet I still watched it. I'm doing almost the the same except my first was a dark brown and I'm not sun bursting it. He's very good.take a bow

What did you use to dilute your dye? Water, alcohol?
The colors from Stewmac are liquid and they are waterbased.

I wouldn’t think ypu could achieve such a nice burst with just dye.. could you please share the brand of dyes you used and the shades?
The Dyes are from Stewmac USA. ColorTone Liquid Stains.

Und in dem video vorher beim body beizen welche 2 Farben wurden da verwendet?

Das Binding habe ich mit einer Rasierklinge gesäubert. (Muß absolut scharf sein)
Die Grundfarbe ist Vintage Amber (Gelber Farbton), der Burst ist eine Mischung aus Orange und Red Mahagoni. Alle Farben sind von Colortone von Stewmac aus den USA.

Nein den Body habe ich nicht selbst gemacht. Habe nicht die Gerätschaften dazu.
Den habe ich bei www.gitarrenbastler.de/index.php gekauft. Hat dort wirklich tolle Bodies und Hälse. Sind nicht gerade billig, aber dafür von sehr guter Qualität.

it was separating where the neck met the body and i used a P10 glue to repair it and finally after all these years i can finally play it, here is the front photo

Kann aber zur Zeit keine Aufträge entgegen nehmen.

@@brankojer4850 Ich werde weitere Gitarren bauen. Momentan reicht es aus Zeitgründen nicht, da meine Werkstatt im Umbau ist.

As I am very new to all this and I don't play a note, I have one question? how the heck is he getting that wonderful white edge on this body. Thanks for any help. By the way I will learn a few notes and chords to test my builds.
Very fine and cautious scrapping with a razor
this white edge is a cream ABS Binding.
