Looking good there Conley. Doesn't matter where you are in the world, there is always someone throwing trash out the window. The health and safety team, must love you fine gentlemen standing on the cab of a moving tractor 😁. 👍
I live in North Carolina and , for the last 2-3 years, I can't find raw in-the-shell Valencia peanuts. What type do you grow and where have the Valencia peanuts gone. I consider them the best.
We grow mainly Virginias but I know a few people in the area that grow Valencia’s. Nobody really like them because they’re a pain to harvest they’re a very fragile peanut and they just want to fall off the vine
So there’s a few factors in peanut yields. Starting with type and variety of peanuts. Next would be irrigation, or the lack thereof, and timely rainfalls. And lastly fertilization combined with insect pest management and disease management. Some fields can produce as little at 3,500 pounds (1.75 US tons) while other fields under near perfect conditions could yield up to 7,000 or 8,000 pounds (3.5-4 US tons). Average yields on well managed and irrigated field like these should be between 5,000-6,000 pounds (2.5-3 US tons). All weights are per acre.
Am from africa, kenya to be specific. There a huge parcel of land around 150 acres unfortunately it need irrigation. Its my dream to be able to plant peanuts or soya beans
measuring acres in a circle is easy. If you have a 18 towers then when you like 6 that is 1/3 the radius. 1/3 times 1/3 equals 1/6. The ratio is what is in the calculations.
I realize these tractors are boring not much for the operator to but my goodness you guys are taking a huge risk! I knew a guy who fell off a tractor years ago and was run over by his implement he has suffered great pain these 40 years later plus you’re putting the idea in someone else’s head please be careful!
The peanut digger would just invert you and you would end up with a nice suntanned back and you would be smelling a very nice aroma from the freshly dug peanuts.

Excellent
Seems to be an advanced crop that demands a lot of skill from the farmer. Looks good🤠
Conley, thanks for another impressive video.
For the slow ground speed that you have to endure, I'd like to see you with a couple of 12 row diggers.
That would be a lot of fun
Do you know if 12 row diggers are the widest diggers that are currently being made-?@@conleybanman

How much peanuts should you produce in one acre?
