At last? :P You must have been asleep. Pakistan's music industry has always been superior to its Indian counterpart. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Mehdi Hassan etc etc. There are great Indian singers but they got nothing on Pakistani singers. Music in India is moral commercialised (muni badnam hoi).

Seems, this innovative combination by CS Pakistan by seemingly having good musicians and all kinds of instruments from Indo-Pak to Middle East and the West and yet songs by Pakistan folk singing is mesmerizing. Almost a new invention in music industry.
Coke Studio was created by a Pakistani singer, who also sang "Junoon" (a patriotic Pakistani song). Nescafe Basement was created by a Pakistani singer, composer and songwriter Zulfiqar Jabbar Khan (aka Xulfi) who also composes the songs in Nescafe Basement.
This is absolutely incredible! An amazing collaboration of great musicians, brilliant production, majestic music and top shelf presentation. This is a benchmark for live studio recording and for live music programs around the world. This is, without doubt, one of the best, if not the best undertakings in the world in the live studio music scene. Absolutely loving it. While listening i automatically smiled that later i realized it was due to the beauty amd the unprecedented melody of this song, what a composition and singing all together, just amazing.
Till now I have listened to this song for more than 100 times in 1 week, Fabulous composition. Everything is just so perfect that this song is going to be in my music list for my life. Every word written for Javed Bashir Saheb is true.. he is just out of this world.. it just gives an divine feeling.. I am a die hard indian but When I hear music from Pakistan it just makes me believe in unity of two nations.. We hv so much in common and still we fight.. I hope better sense will prevail..
