I’m wondering if you know or where I can find out which products would best make a light concrete that would be tough enough to handle the sea movement when used as 1 piece for the deck and 1 piece for the rooftop placed in between 2 fibreglass boat hulls please? Hulls are 6m x 1m and royal width of boat will be 2.4m. Each piece would need to handle the different strained movements on the sea while under motor/sail. Thanks 😊. Rob

I can't see why you wouldn't pour smaller bricks instead of VERY SLOWLY cutting up a block. I mean you wouldn't waste time and blades. I work for a German modular formwork company and we can achieve shapes that most people can't dream of. Variable curves and everything so it's not that hard to make variable sized blocks with formwork with adjustable sizes.

The volume of one array of foam concrete is 0.864 cubic meters. The weight of the array is almost 650 kilograms. When sawing an array into blocks of 200 x 300 x 600 mm., The weight of one block will be about 23 kilograms.

Most of this stuff is fairly soft. I've seen similar stuff with large wood screws being driven straight into it.
