    I owe you a beer my friend! I have had tennis elbow for about a year now and have done every conservative treatment imaginable. NSAIDs, rest, brace, ice, you name it. I placed traction over the tendon and hyperextended like you demonstrated and the pain instantly went away. I could never really isolate it and stop the tendon pain even using a tennis elbow brace. This worked instantly. Thanks a bunch!

    I'm going on 10 months of relentless golfers elbow. I've tried daily stretching, light strengthening exercises, and full blown multi month rest. Nothing I seem to do will make it go away. I've also been tracking my vitamin and mineral intake to make sure a deficiency there isn't causing me a delayed recovery. Some days you just feel so frustrated you almost want to give up

      Hey!.. I had golfers elbow a few years ago. Want to know what healed it up?.. Send $500 bucks too.. JK! All jokes aside, ALL I did was bicep curls! That's it! No stretching, nada! Healed it right up!.. If you have it real bad, start with lighter weights. You're welcome ;)

      One year here going on as I have both. Gave up on PT as I found it a crock. Three different therapists, three different methods. Nothing doing. I bought one of those vibrators that shake the house and it works temporarily. When I wake up, back to square one. I'm lost.

      @@justinsane3909 keep striving for better health Justin. I've FINALLY been having progress the last 3-4 weeks. It might sound extreme but it took a full diet and lifestyle reprogram. I started eating 4-6 cups of dark leafy greens a day, cut sugar completely, added 10k IU of Vit D daily, magnesium, zinc, and daily full body sunlight. I also combine that with lots of tai chi style targeted stretches to get back the range of motion I lost but to also strengthen it. Your elbow will hurt while in the restrengthen phase and mobility phase but you MUST PERSIST. goodluck man. God bless and may the Lord heal you fully. In Jesus name.

    My situation seems different than others but I'm certain and so is my doctor it is 'golfers elbow' but I have swelling in my hand, little or no pain in my elbow and there's visible atrophy all in my left arm. I'm gonna try everything you suggested. Is there additional exercises are there any I should avoid? How would Cortesone injections help or hurt in concert with your therapy? Thanks and thanks.

    I've had something called prolotherapy which is a regenerative technique involving an injection of lidocaine, saline and dextrose into the medical epicondyle. Some improvement with exercises. The next step for me is a platelet rich plasma injection into the golfer's elbow area. Centrifuged elements of my blood concentrated into growth factors and injected into the damaged tendon. Fingers crossed.

    • @TheStrengthNU
      @TheStrengthNU  6 років тому +6

      WithTheBears we didn't have it in our clinic at first but we were fortunate enough to happen to get there. Google Shockwave therapy you'll see how awesome it really is. also, this is an expensive machine lol so we wouldn't waste our money if it didn't work. We're mainly a hands on clinic but there are a cases where this treatment is WAY more effective. the best practice is to combine both manual therapy and key tools like shockwave to fix issues
