Eventing Video: Offchurch BE90 June 2024

For our second BE90 we made the short trip to Offchurch Bury for their end of June event.
A nice dressage with a VERY costly mistake, Sparkles didn’t make it easy for me but the second part of the test was much nicer.
Onto the showjumping, the warm up was very hectic and Sparkles didn’t seem to like the collecting ring ground. This resulted in a few uncharacteristic refusals in the warm up which really unnerved me. We put that behind us and went in the ring for a lovely clear round, but I really had to ride!
Then our favourite phase, the cross country. Sparkles stormed round with a fantastic clear round and a couple of time penalties which was my fault for messing up timings at the start!
And that is how we got our first double clear at BE90 😃
