That's the italian charm~ it's one of my favourite things about being italian. It's so much fun gesticolating like that, so much. When i was younger I thought it was a universal thing, like everybody in the world did it ahahah but I love how physically expressive we get
My respects to that woman. She asked just the right questions to make Frank talk so openly and answer more than one thing. He's such an amazing human being...
this is probably on my top three favorite frank interviews. you both looked so comfortable and everything seemed to flow nicely. i also really loved some of the questions that were being asked, they felt sincere and like you actually cared.
Such a lovely interview! I absolutely adore that Frank talked so much and the journalist did great job, the humanity needs more people like her. p.s.: h o w is this man getting more and more handsome with the years shouldn't it be the opposite??
Awesome interview... The last one with Frankie was also awesome... Great questions! And he mentions G all by himself without u having to ask about mychem.. Also FRANK MENTIONS GEEEEEEE!! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH
Bruh, at first i thought that microphone was a flask, so i was like why are they speaking into a flask, then i realised it's a microphone. That's one weird microphone
els only Frank was doing press that day. When you schedule interviews with bands you rarely know which members you're going to get unless it's a band where only one or more members tend to do the interviews. I guess because Frank writes the music he's the best person to talk about it X
im glad these questions were actually ones he could go off on a tangent with, They were perfect cos you gave him a direction of something to talk about and he just ran with it. The best type of interview! I especially liked the part where he talked about not explaining what songs mean, because a listener should make their own meaning of it. So many of his fans are talented artists and you can see his inspiration in their work (looking at instagram and tumblr and twitter). They all interpret his songs to mean something to them, and make art from it. Awesome!
Haha I know! It was too noisy to use a microphone ( it was picking up all the interviews going on nearby) so I had to use the dictophome which you’d usually use for podcasts! Looked like I was about to taser him!
the part where he’s talking about fans needing him to listen just warms my heart so much. i can’t believe this man is so thoughtful and caring toward his fans. he truly realizes the impact that his music has on people and that they want to tell him how much he means to them. i feel like not everyone cares to listen, but he really does.
i’ve met frank 3 times and one of the times i met him was before his concert back where his tour bus was. my two friends and i waited there to see if he’d come out and luckily enough, he did. he’s the nicest person in the whole world and i mean that when i say it. he told us he was in a rush, which is very understandable considering it was about an hour before they opened the doors but the fact that he took the time to talk to us and sign things just means the absolute world to me. to know that he really does care that his fans want him to know how he’s helped them shows how amazing of a person he is. the third time i met him was after the show and i hardly had any time to speak to him since there were so many fans but i did tell him how much him and his music means to me and how much it had helped me and he stood there and listened. i could tell he was really listening and not just brushing me off as another fan yknow? not that frank would ever do that but some celebrities are like that but frank just isn’t. he’s the most down to earth person and cares so much about his fans. couldn’t ask for a better person to have met.
Thank you for taking the time to leave this comment. It’s so nice to hear/read personal experiences like this. From interviewing him it’s very obvious that he is a kind and genuine person as well as professional. X
This is one of my favorite interviews i have ever seen with frank. Sophie you are a great interviewer! even with the struggles you had that day you just chatted with Frank. and i think he really opened up, asking some great things. i have seen so many interviews that ask the same thing, read off paper and just say the same old stuff, seeming very uninterested in Frank (or other artists) You however did an awesome job, no awkwardness, no weird silences, it was so natural. Your great :-)
I really like his interview style because he seems very genuine and appreciative. I'm glad that he made the decision to front his own band because it allowed him to flourish and not spend the rest of his life as "that guy in MCR."
I’m laying in bed with a bag tied over my hair (I’m dying it and I wanted to lay down) and I just keep screaming to myself “I WANNA HUG HIM” every time he says something sad or relatable
Such a great interview! He is as always super deep and can express himself in such a simple yet interesting way. The interviewer was amazing! she looked actually interested in what he has to say and just let him speak without interrupting
This is definitely one of my favorite interviews. It’s so nice to see a non awkward interview where the interview asks questions that makes frank think about his answer and stuff and actually get to talk about the music and stuff
HEY MOTHERFUCKERS...
❤ I love y'all ❤
Destiny Marie

That's the italian charm~ it's one of my favourite things about being italian. It's so much fun gesticolating like that, so much. When i was younger I thought it was a universal thing, like everybody in the world did it ahahah but I love how physically expressive we get

He's so nice and has a lot of things to say. I will always be in love with this.man
this is probably on my top three favorite frank interviews. you both looked so comfortable and everything seemed to flow nicely. i also really loved some of the questions that were being asked, they felt sincere and like you actually cared.

Am I the only one asking about the way the microphone looks?
haha I know, sorry. My microphone broke last summer and can't afford a new one, so this funny dictaphone will have to do for now. I'll never be cool.
No, I thought it was a replica from Doctor Who at first
he called Gerard Gee ☺
Holly Canales WHERE IS THIS PART
+Morgan O'Neill 22:55
Holly Canales he always does xD on twitter he calls him "g" so that's the same
@23:06 he mentioned Gee
Such a lovely interview! I absolutely adore that Frank talked so much and the journalist did great job, the humanity needs more people like her.

This is one of the best interviews I've ever seen, with one of my favourite musicians ever.
Aw what a lovely comment, thank you x
Bruh, at first i thought that microphone was a flask, so i was like why are they speaking into a flask, then i realised it's a microphone. That's one weird microphone

Just realising he seems so happy and open here probably because MCR just started planning for their reunion that year. :)
iceagecoming - they say they started planning the reunion in 2016, so yeah, it fits.

This is definitely one of my favorite interviews. It’s so nice to see a non awkward interview where the interview asks questions that makes frank think about his answer and stuff and actually get to talk about the music and stuff
"Why haven't you called me a motherfucker yet?" I love Frank Iero
Why is that guy so relatable? I think I am developing a parasocial relationship
Frank 👁 👂 😮
the way he talks about sensory overload and being awkward makes me think he's neurodivergent in some way haha. I relate to it a lot.
This man is precious
His my idol and his music from 2002 right he way through tontoday has helped me
