It's gonna be really hard to implement gameplay into such a vast and big story with a variety of over powered characters. Who would you play as? How would you make the game feel balanced without ruining the lore part? What will be the sequence of events? Since League of Legends has many many stories spread around many different time periods. So it's gonna be hard to connect all of these into one game without making everyone confused as to what's going on exactly. Of course I wish we had something like this, but I'm just saying that it's gonna be so hard to do x)
It’s almost like making an RPG with multiple different outcomes and possibilities with different endings has never been done. Allowing multiple play throughs to experience everything the game has to offer with DLC after release to expand on it.

These stories give me goosebumps... Books over these lores would sell like hot cakes! Just a suggestion. Id totally buy all the books if you were able to put all the lore into chronelogical order and make it a series

i would love to see some darkin skins for nasus, renekton, azir and xerath just to see what they would looked like if they had become corrupted by the void
they can't it's a cool concept but hard to pull off due to the shuriman lore being heaving, and even though if you let them fight the void they wont get corripted easily due to them being experienced and even if they do they will just isolate themselfs and recover from the mental scars

you know i like the almost aristocratic look of the darkin shown in thumbnail. i hope one day they make skins for the darkin that showcased their original form edit: original form was the wrong choice of words. in the lore after the fall of shurima but before there imprisonment in the weapons they mastered forbidden magics that allowed them to change there forms to be what ever they desired, i think that the art in the thumb nail is meant to show them as they were just before they were imprisoned after they had used said forbidden magics to change there form from their original ascended form, not as they were after they change there host body when they pick up one of their weapons. thats what i was referring to
In Zoe's story, the original Aspect of Twilight is captivated by Zoe's playful nature. Maybe Myisha referenced as the trickster is a commonality she has with Zoe and why both were chosen as the aspects in their own times

Well... considering Zoe is call the trickster... im pretty sure that this "aspect of change" changes things by... well... tricking people? Ive said it before and ill say it again... Aatrox hate for Zoe is not because Zoe thought the mortals how to bind him to his sword... Its how Zoe tricked Aatrox into joining her and pantheon to fight as Darkin... Remember... they were made to be untouchable by the void... that the void wouldnt impact them... (sure that could fail) and maybe the deformation of their bodies is due to the void... But i dont believe that... I believe that Pantheon was raising an army, and Zoe tricked those recruted into it to join their "special forces" in which they became Darkin... (or whatever they would call it, since darkin is the mortal term...) Furthermore i do not believe Zoe bound the remaining darkin into their weapons to "get rid of them". I believe she sealed them to contain, or rather preserve them, for once she needs weapons again. Because if im not mistaken, the sealed ones are the strongest of the darkin... So 5 (or more) of the strongest anti void weapons, preserved, at tactical locations... Literally anywhere the void could attack from, a powerfull weapon could be awakend in a short period of time... To counter the void... To use those as "guardians/protectors" against the void in time of need... (and probably sealing them again straight after they did what they were ment to do... because welll... its a fcking trickster isnt it?)
Rene Van Til Zoe/Myisha didn't appear in Shuriman lore until AFTER Shuriman ascendants fought the Void in Icathia and fought themsleves after Azir and Shurima fell. Darkin are just Void touched/PTSD Ascended warriors that used primal magic which altered their form. It is unknown if Zoe/Myisha sealed the 4 Darkin (Varus was sealed by the golden armoured queen of Valoran and Vastayan moon stalkers). And why would Targon need weapons against the void when their aspects are stronger than ascendants (ascendants use the sun disc to harness the power od the sun - aspects get their power directly from a god) and Zoe and ASol are beings with galaxy level power more or less
Diana Moon Dunno about the Darkins losing to the Aspects. Aatrox and the other Darkin fought Void creatures at the same level of the aspects. The Aspects needed Aurelion Sol always in order to destroy the void. If they were so powerful then they don't need Sol to confront the void. The Aspects (Leona, Pantheon, Diana and Taric) are at the same level as the Darkin.
Fuzzy Wuzzy they used the ascended than the aspects or Aurelion Sol because aspects can be turned into a void. Aurelion will make a massive damage to runeterra if he seals the void leaving a large crater in runeterra. Aurelion is probably just like a nuke just in case things go to shit.
Plot Armour But the Aspects used Aurelion at the start of the rift. Also, the Aspects can't be corrupted because they are using mortal hosts. If the host gets infected, they can get another.
Fuzzy Wuzzy Aspects are literally chosen by a God and given knowledge and power by them. Ascended TRY to reach godhood by using the sun. Ascended are discount Sun Aspects and they can be unmade with moon magic. Pantheon apparently abuses ASol Taric is a single man chosen by a God to be the guardian of Runeterra against the Void. Leona moved the sun Moon magic unmade and obliterated a couple Darkin. Zoe's mere presence bends the rules of space and time. The Darkin are definitely nowhere near the same level as the Aspects. If anything the invading Void creatures were just town-city level just like the Darkin. The only time we've heard of ASol actually being used to seal a Void rift was also when we learned of the existence of something in the Void that could rival him??
I wonder and worry if Sivir is due for a rework where she will be revealed as a darkin like Kayn and Raast. Or will Azir sense this and use the ancient power of the Sun to save Sivir cleansing the chalakar and freeing her from ever having to face such a battle.
This whole sordid mess is going to make one amazing expansion for the eventual Runeterra MMO. Personally I'd like to see redemption for Aatrox and the others. They paid the ultimate price to save the world from Icathia's hubris and got nothing but death and eternal damnation in return. It'd be the perfect excuse to bring in the old man too.
The icons used shurima as a staging point and used the ascended to spread their power to many mortals to fight the void after the war was over and void was driven back it had no need for the new ascended and thought they would exist in a way that benefited the icons until xerath caused the schism by stealing the power meant for azir and trapping azir in a half ascended state of energy until sivir and cass accidentally finished the ritual, the resulting war between the ascended forced the aspect of change to act to stop the worlds destruction from the ascended's fighting, as for why the aspect of protect/life did not act it probably could not find a avatar that met its requirements. On another note as the power stripped from the ascend of their immortal forms could the one that resembled the snake be the curse that was placed on Cass as it slowly takes over her body much like other darkin like Varus still have the voices of the ones they were fused with only Cass's will is stronger for the time being right now?How do demons actually fit into the grander picture? Are the undead a by product of the runes, the targon gods, or the void? Why have the other celestial beings like Aurelion Sol and Bard not intervened in the machinations of targon and the void?
Aurelion Sol mentions that there are other entities like himself out in the cosmos that he is not the only one he does not say that there is only one he mentions brothers plural(line he says in game when against a targonian)in his lore on his bio he says "He clashed with other cosmic entities, some of which he had known since the dawn of time. For millennia, he fought Targon’s wars, crushed any threats to its dominance, and helped it forge a star-spanning empire", I said other celestials like them not them specifically as targon had to trick Sol in order to control him even barely able to do so(he has killed at least one incarnation of pantheon in the short story).
it is okay was just clarifying a misunderstanding as for what is going on in runeterra it seems like everything with a hint of power is finding its way to runeterra at some point still confused about some of the champions as the adaptation to the new lore has left many questions.
What riot really needs to do is just hand their lore department over to black library. Graham Mcniel is on the holy council of Warhammer 40k gigachad authors. Just had it to us in the 40k community and we will write such books i promise you l, you'll have 140 books all 1k pages plus exploring every improtant champion, a truly epic story will be born.
There is still few things I´d like to know. In the first place, why is Aatrox and Rhaast looking so demonic, when Darkin were all animal looking humanoids? Also Varus is different. Is it because of the transformation? Did they have body mixed with some animals too? If yes, why is Aatrox looking demonic even before being trapped in the weapon? It can be seen on that picture, when Pantheon stands above him. And also...if all god warriors were called Darkin when the war raged, does that make Nasus and Renekton Darkin too, or is it just for those who were fighting in that war?
Aatrox and rhaast look so demonic because they are trying to look like what they did before, but they still look like their host. Rhaast looks a lot like kayn and aatrox keeps shifting his body. He looked demonic before because of void corruption and stuff like that. Nasus and renekton are not darkin, only the ones that were fighting in the war.
The Ascended who would live up to the name Darkin would go on to truly abuse the blood magics they learned after the events of Twilight of the Gods, whether out of desperation of recklessness, which perverted their God Warrior forms significantly. When they were subsequently hunted down and imprisoned within the weapons that would become their true selves, their forms were twisted even further as the eons went on. When they corrupt and possess the body of any foolish enough to wield them, the Darkin has to make do with the flesh they have instead of what they truly need to regain so much as a fragment of their former visage, resulting in a truly abominable mishmash of the above explanations. Hence, why they look like demonic monstrosities rather than anthropomorphized animal people.

People arent realizing that the humans who are chosen by aspects dont have the same goal or reason for existing or whatever. Its clear when you see how Myisha strategically planned all this but Zoe basically still has a child's mind and all she cares about is having fun. Although they do share the idea of how they're both tricksters, except one does it in serious ways and the other for fun and has no actual reason behind it besides her enjoyment.
figured out how champions like Varus or Rhaast only need one or two hosts but Aatrox needs many (Varus' hosts are Valmar and Kai two Ionians and Rhaast's host is Kayn but he can't take over Kayn's body yet because his will is too strong) Aatrox is much more powerful that the other Darkin (lorewise) so all of the bodies he's collected decay faster when he uses too much of his power because mortals cannot handle a fallen gods power their bodies ripped apart and pulled together make Aatrox what he is now and if you ask why don't all their wills combined keep him down? that could be for a few reasons one of them maybe because Aatrox's will is stronger, maybe they don't have a bond as strong as Valmar and Kai (the two Ionians that make Varus' body), or possibly some other reason.
zoe is the aspect of change, no? would make sense if she could CHANGE her apperance. i also dont think it would be wierd if her own intensions would change time to time

not all ascendants have animal traits, it is mostly based on your souls personality renekton - brutal, born on war (crocodile) nasus - smart, war-strategist (jackal) azir - leadership, loyal (bird) all seeing aatrox was just a right-hand for the god-queen (bodyguard)
these are the notable Ascended who were referred to as Darkin were: Ta’anari (Panther), Enakai (Tiger), Syphax (Chameleon), Zigantus (Bull), Xuuyan (Turtle), Shabaka and Shabake (Raven twins), Valeeva (Unknown), Cebotaru (Wolf), and Naganeka (Snake). and aatrox might be the bull ascendant, and the reason aatrox being the bull ascendent due to his tusk on his side of his face, varus is not an animal descendant like setaka he has no animal traits and as you can see varus's current form is his 50% before corrupting kai and valmar

Necrit uses world of Warcraft music and models in all of his videos, so it is really easy to me to imagine it as a rpg game

edit: original form was the wrong choice of words. in the lore after the fall of shurima but before there imprisonment in the weapons they mastered forbidden magics that allowed them to change there forms to be what ever they desired, i think that the art in the thumb nail is meant to show them as they were just before they were imprisoned after they had used said forbidden magics to change there form from their original ascended form, not as they were after they change there host body when they pick up one of their weapons. thats what i was referring to

In Zoe's story, the original Aspect of Twilight is captivated by Zoe's playful nature. Maybe Myisha referenced as the trickster is a commonality she has with Zoe and why both were chosen as the aspects in their own times

Ive said it before and ill say it again... Aatrox hate for Zoe is not because Zoe thought the mortals how to bind him to his sword...
Its how Zoe tricked Aatrox into joining her and pantheon to fight as Darkin... Remember... they were made to be untouchable by the void... that the void wouldnt impact them... (sure that could fail) and maybe the deformation of their bodies is due to the void... But i dont believe that... I believe that Pantheon was raising an army, and Zoe tricked those recruted into it to join their "special forces" in which they became Darkin... (or whatever they would call it, since darkin is the mortal term...)
Furthermore i do not believe Zoe bound the remaining darkin into their weapons to "get rid of them". I believe she sealed them to contain, or rather preserve them, for once she needs weapons again. Because if im not mistaken, the sealed ones are the strongest of the darkin... So 5 (or more) of the strongest anti void weapons, preserved, at tactical locations... Literally anywhere the void could attack from, a powerfull weapon could be awakend in a short period of time... To counter the void...
To use those as "guardians/protectors" against the void in time of need... (and probably sealing them again straight after they did what they were ment to do... because welll... its a fcking trickster isnt it?)

Zoe/Myisha didn't appear in Shuriman lore until AFTER Shuriman ascendants fought the Void in Icathia and fought themsleves after Azir and Shurima fell.
Darkin are just Void touched/PTSD Ascended warriors that used primal magic which altered their form.
It is unknown if Zoe/Myisha sealed the 4 Darkin (Varus was sealed by the golden armoured queen of Valoran and Vastayan moon stalkers).
And why would Targon need weapons against the void when their aspects are stronger than ascendants (ascendants use the sun disc to harness the power od the sun - aspects get their power directly from a god) and Zoe and ASol are beings with galaxy level power more or less

The Aspects needed Aurelion Sol always in order to destroy the void. If they were so powerful then they don't need Sol to confront the void.

Fuzzy Wuzzy they used the ascended than the aspects or Aurelion Sol because aspects can be turned into a void.
Aurelion will make a massive damage to runeterra if he seals the void leaving a large crater in runeterra. Aurelion is probably just like a nuke just in case things go to shit.

This whole sordid mess is going to make one amazing expansion for the eventual Runeterra MMO.
Personally I'd like to see redemption for Aatrox and the others. They paid the ultimate price to save the world from Icathia's hubris and got nothing but death and eternal damnation in return.
It'd be the perfect excuse to bring in the old man too.
The icons used shurima as a staging point and used the ascended to spread their power to many mortals to fight the void after the war was over and void was driven back it had no need for the new ascended and thought they would exist in a way that benefited the icons until xerath caused the schism by stealing the power meant for azir and trapping azir in a half ascended state of energy until sivir and cass accidentally finished the ritual, the resulting war between the ascended forced the aspect of change to act to stop the worlds destruction from the ascended's fighting, as for why the aspect of protect/life did not act it probably could not find a avatar that met its requirements. On another note as the power stripped from the ascend of their immortal forms could the one that resembled the snake be the curse that was placed on Cass as it slowly takes over her body much like other darkin like Varus still have the voices of the ones they were fused with only Cass's will is stronger for the time being right now?How do demons actually fit into the grander picture? Are the undead a by product of the runes, the targon gods, or the void? Why have the other celestial beings like Aurelion Sol and Bard not intervened in the machinations of targon and the void?

Aurelion Sol mentions that there are other entities like himself out in the cosmos that he is not the only one he does not say that there is only one he mentions brothers plural(line he says in game when against a targonian)in his lore on his bio he says "He clashed with other cosmic entities, some of which he had known since the dawn of time. For millennia, he fought Targon’s wars, crushed any threats to its dominance, and helped it forge a star-spanning empire", I said other celestials like them not them specifically as targon had to trick Sol in order to control him even barely able to do so(he has killed at least one incarnation of pantheon in the short story).

There is still few things I´d like to know. In the first place, why is Aatrox and Rhaast looking so demonic, when Darkin were all animal looking humanoids? Also Varus is different. Is it because of the transformation? Did they have body mixed with some animals too? If yes, why is Aatrox looking demonic even before being trapped in the weapon? It can be seen on that picture, when Pantheon stands above him. And also...if all god warriors were called Darkin when the war raged, does that make Nasus and Renekton Darkin too, or is it just for those who were fighting in that war?
Aatrox and rhaast look so demonic because they are trying to look like what they did before, but they still look like their host. Rhaast looks a lot like kayn and aatrox keeps shifting his body. He looked demonic before because of void corruption and stuff like that. Nasus and renekton are not darkin, only the ones that were fighting in the war.
The Ascended who would live up to the name Darkin would go on to truly abuse the blood magics they learned after the events of Twilight of the Gods, whether out of desperation of recklessness, which perverted their God Warrior forms significantly. When they were subsequently hunted down and imprisoned within the weapons that would become their true selves, their forms were twisted even further as the eons went on.
When they corrupt and possess the body of any foolish enough to wield them, the Darkin has to make do with the flesh they have instead of what they truly need to regain so much as a fragment of their former visage, resulting in a truly abominable mishmash of the above explanations. Hence, why they look like demonic monstrosities rather than anthropomorphized animal people.
So I guess kayn killing rhaast is the good ending for both of them

People arent realizing that the humans who are chosen by aspects dont have the same goal or reason for existing or whatever. Its clear when you see how Myisha strategically planned all this but Zoe basically still has a child's mind and all she cares about is having fun. Although they do share the idea of how they're both tricksters, except one does it in serious ways and the other for fun and has no actual reason behind it besides her enjoyment.

figured out how champions like Varus or Rhaast only need one or two hosts but Aatrox needs many (Varus' hosts are Valmar and Kai two Ionians and Rhaast's host is Kayn but he can't take over Kayn's body yet because his will is too strong) Aatrox is much more powerful that the other Darkin (lorewise) so all of the bodies he's collected decay faster when he uses too much of his power because mortals cannot handle a fallen gods power their bodies ripped apart and pulled together make Aatrox what he is now and if you ask why don't all their wills combined keep him down? that could be for a few reasons one of them maybe because Aatrox's will is stronger, maybe they don't have a bond as strong as Valmar and Kai (the two Ionians that make Varus' body), or possibly some other reason.

not all ascendants have animal traits, it is mostly based on your souls personality
renekton - brutal, born on war (crocodile)
nasus - smart, war-strategist (jackal)
azir - leadership, loyal (bird) all seeing
aatrox was just a right-hand for the god-queen (bodyguard)
if the darkin had animal traits aatrox would be a bull and unknown for rhaast
I think aatrox is a bat , rhaast is cape buffalo , for varus i think he is a fish because he sealed in well and the well has water
