Beautiful video! Thanks for getting out there & sharing! Btw, I’m pretty sure that was out state flower about ten seconds after you mentioned you weren’t sure what they looked like. 😄 👌🏼🙏👊🏻❤️
just went on a little family trip with my brother his wife and my 5 year old nephew for a little overnight camping and was a blast we really wanted to show the little one what backwoods true forestry looks like and this nailed it perfectly he loved every bit of it!
great hike. I was camping on the crooked river minning our claim just down the road from you. Ever hiked the crooked river trail? I haven't either but it looks good.
No I know exactly where it is though. I had it on the list for this series and was advised to hold off on it until now (I was originally planning to do it May 1st). I'll get around to it soon, probably end of Summer.
Thanks for another great video. Looks like a short hike to a peaceful camping spot. Is there a parking lot or good parking at trailhead? It did not look like it in video. Please reply....Thanks....
No there is not good parking. You just have to park on the edge of the road. I found a vehicle turnout about 200 feet from the trailhead where I parked.
Love your channel! Keep up the great work and solid videography! My wife and I are contemplating moving out to Boise later this year and these videos definitely support the urge. I have a couple random questions, just curious, what drone do you use/any recommendations for entry level adventure photography drones?
Thanks Drew, thanks for the support! Our next series is about Boise specifically, those videos should start dropping in 3-4 weeks. Definitely check those out if you're thinking of moving up here. I think for adventure photography drones everyone is using the DJI Mavic series and we are too. The size, quality, and price aren't really beatable in the adventure industry. I am using the Mavic 2 Pro with the Hasselblad camera. The Hasselblad feature is spendier, but if you take professional pictures with your drone it's worth it. DJI did just send me the Mavic Air 2 which I'll be taking into the Sawtooths this month. The specs on it are impressive and it's super cheap in the space at $800. I know the Mavic Pro 3 is coming out real soon though so I'm not sure if I'll buy the Air 2 or wait on the Pro 3.
@@JonConti Awesome, we've seen your previously posted videos highlighting Boise, excited to see some new content! Even better, also very interested in seeing some venture footage of the Sawtooths! 👌 We're hoping to visit Boise in July, so this will be great! Oh man, the Mavic Air 2 sounds almost perfect! We're more outdoor enthusiasts than savvy videographer/photographers at this point haha.... so the $800 price point sounds much better. Thank you for the quick response and information, excited to see what's in store from you guys!
Questions about Short Creek? Leave them here!
The Adventures of Jon & Chad Good spot for fishing?
Aric Domke honestly, I don’t really know. Dip a line in and let us know!
Awesome video! I am doing a school project on Idaho City. I was hoping I could share your video in my Story Map about Idaho City.
I love the balsum root! It's always a welcome sight after a long winter around Spokane, letting you know that spring has finally arrived
Balsum root should be the idaho state flower!

Love this place
Have you hiked this!
Damn, guys. Let’s collab on some weekend. I am always looking for new places to explore.
Do you live in Idaho?
I've seen the videos of you traveling in Idaho, but I wasn't sure if you lived here.
The Adventures of Jon & Chad we moved last year to Nampa from Sacramento. So yeah, now I’m enjoying that beauty too 😬
