Nice drive, and sounds like you've got a good attitude to your business. Good for you. I was trying to guess where you're from going by the accent, I thought Nottinghamshire, then i saw the road signs!
I provide the same services all year round but work does drop off December-February this year I’ll be pushing the gutter clearing side to see if that supports my income. Thank you for the question.
My gardening business has been running since 2006, my van does 3000ml per yr for about 20 customers all hourly...Priceing is the way to make money except for me i hate chasing around to see the jobs...
Im still at the £15- £16 an hour plus waste stage , i was surprised when i got a hedge cutting job i bumped it up quite a bit and still got a £60 tip so mybe i need to rethink my pricing next year , i only advertise with flyers in shop windows, do you think the papers are worth a go ?
Newspaper as been my biggest source of new customers and it’s lanyards me The best work. As for the pricing for me and my area that’s a little low. But everyone’s different. Breakdown your costs expenses and what you want to earn. And go from there try putting your price up for new customers.
Thanks for sharing your experience Sam, much appreciated.
Cheers matey.
I like this style of video and storytelling!
Things look so different over there :)
Thank you so much. My lawncare hero.
Yes a lot different over here. Hope you start posting soon.

Thank you for the video. May I ask, what services you provide during November-February?
