I make those but to make it quick and easy I just line a small baking dish with parchment paper and pour it all in and press down firm and add the meted chocolate all over the top sprinkle with sunflower seeds freeze 😊

These tasted good. Usually, I have to doctor up a recipe with a little more spice but it was just enough. The texture is a bit rough on the mouth. I will try these again but will make adjustments for the texture (either blitz the oats for smaller oat bits or soak the oats prior). I gave them to my non-vegan neighbor and her 12 year old niece and they also liked them but agreed they would adjust the texture.
@@essycooks this is a win, btw, that my neighbors liked them. They mainly eat things that are prepackaged and highly processed and scoff at anything remotely related to healthy.

I can totally see how old fashioned oats would be a bit too textured for this recipe. You'll have to let me know if you make it again with the quick oats and what you think 😄

Hi there! yes you can definitely used old fashioned oats. The texture will be different, a bit chewier. I still prefer quick oats for this recipe but rolled oats would be delicious too. let me know how it goes if you try it! 😃

yes absolutely! it's delicious with ground almond flour instead of oat flour :)
