Follow along my Arrival and Approach back into my home airfield after my first solo navigation exercise. The procedure used for the approach is called "Overhead Join" and it is the mainly used type of approach when joining an airfield pattern from outside its zone.

if you have LED landing lights, it is far better to have the landing lights on all the time when under 10,000 feet especially within 10 miles of ANY airport.
