I was born and raised in KC and moved to STL. People here in STL didn’t think the Rams would move either. Watching the possibility of the Chiefs moving is like watching history repeat itself. Scary.
The people in this comment section are hilarious, move them to St. Louis 😂😂😂? Kansas City sports are dying? Where do you guys come up with this? We will have a new stadium and it will be in Kansas City, the voters chose not to use a sales tax to pay for it the way it was structured. We will revote on it several times and I’m guarantee it will go through. Kansas City residence will never let the Chiefs go, it has been our pride and joy. Now the Royals that’s a different story. Even our elected officials are fans of the Chiefs, they would not let the Chiefs leave either. I think it’ll just take some time to get all the kinks worked out.
if our elected officials could pay for it, they would. unfortunately the taxpayers of JACKSON county will have to pay for it.. and they said pass. And prob will say pass again no matter what. paying to make the rich richer is not a thing anymore. And now we have social media,, the word is getting out about the lies they tell. And people are not having it
Exactly what I’ve been saying this whole time, the hunt family do not own the stadium. Jackson County owns it. Who are these idiots that keep saying billionaires need to pay for their own stadium? 90% of the time the taxpayers are footing the bill. I don’t mind help paying for it. The Chiefs have gave me over 40 years of enjoyment for FREE! I would give something back to them.
@@shysgarage2405 they dont wanna own it.. they just wanna make the money their making off it. Jackson County should have saved some of that rent money to make upgrades
You said Kansas City sports is dying lol move them to St. Louis? You should probably reverse that. Because nobody cares about St. Louis sports. That’s why the Rams left you guys. Plus all the crime. What NFL team wants to move to a city where the crime is the highest in the country?
Move them to St. Louis. It’s clear that Kansas City sports are dying. Both Kaufman stadium and arrowhead are very old and need to be replaced, as it’s been clear so far that there is little chance of a renovation. Meanwhile St. Louis is a sports city that just lost its nfl team do to a selfish owner. Saint Louis is dying for another nfl team and has the funding to build a stadium. The blues, cardinals and chiefs being together would be great for Missouri sports. Plus, it wouldn’t be that far for current chiefs fans to still go to games, while also establishing more of a fanbase for the team.
@@JHKCF becuase it’s still a nice stadium and there’s no point in rebuilding… plus if they had to they may be able to get approved for renovations which is the whole reason why the chiefs may have to move as they can’t get these approvals

This upgrade is NOT happening. It was voted down. As of now nothing is set in stone
No, it was not. The sales tax was voted down to pay for it. That doesn’t mean it cannot be restructured and reworked so the taxpayers will vote.
taxpayer should not pay for something the cant afford to go to or don't have to
@@michaelnichols9850If it were to be resurrected, I could see a split between the county, state of Missouri and Chiefs franchise.
Something makes me think, the Chiefs can fund their own upgrades.
Jackson County owns the stadium. Why would the Chiefs pay for all the upgrades? It makes no sense.
Nothing to be known until January’25, when Missouri legislature reconvenes.
Something makes me think you have no idea what you're talking about
just ask Taylor to fund it.

With what they charge for hotdogs and beer and parking . Let them pay for it
Well ...I guess if push comes to shove and all else has failed....Travis can maybe tell Taylor to write the damn check.😂
If they move it will still be in Kansas City metro area
even though it was voted down the Chiefs ARE NOT going to move. That was a rediculous statement on your part!!!!!
Stop paying these players millions and millions of dollars and put some of that into a new or upgraded stadium.
Multi billion dollar owners should foot the entire bill and hard working Americans shouldn’t have to pay for it
That would make perfect sense IF the Hunt Family actually owned the stadium instead of Jackson County... 🤷♂️

Then Billionaires should reap all the rewards also, and not pay taxes on the investment they had to pay for. See how stupid you sound?

They share the same parking lot with the MLB's Royals. Will they upgrade their stadium as well?
The Royals are moving to a new stadium in the center city.

No. Keep the game outside. Chiefs do better in the elements.

Bro have you seen STL? That's like trying to put a stadium in a nuclear test site not going to last

CHIEFS STADIUM NEEDS A ROOF.
No it doesn’t. It’s perfectly fine without one.
