Today I am reviewing the new Elmer's glue craft kit called Elmer's Squishies. they claim you can make your own squishy characters with secret solutions and glue. Will it be a huge mess or a success?
Hey Guys, It's Doctor Squish! Please note this video is not intended for viewers under the age of 13, and may contain some adult humor. I'm a 40 yr old mom who makes videos about the things I love. That is usually slime, crafting fidget toys, and collecting unique kawaii things.
I collect Gudetama, anime toys and figures, Japanese toys, stress toys, and slime making items. I love all things sensory/tactile toys and items as these things calm me and help me focus on the world around me. I want you to have a comfortable and safe space here with me!

You could definitely dust the squishies with cornstarch or baby powder to reduce the stickiness! And the molds can be used with clay or playdough :>

The molds aren’t useless! You can use them with Play Doh, Model Magic, homemade clay (salt/flour kinda thing), putty, trying it with diff kinds of slime, maybe nail products like UV gel or polygel, paper mache, on and on.
If you’re sure to clean and sanitize it, you could try jello, ice, popsicles, marshmallow, and whatever else you can think of! (Surely not microwave or oven safe, but I don’t see why you can’t use it in the fridge and freezer.)
I would use them for resin!!!
I've used them for making jello (after cleaning very well of course) and will work for epoxy molding. The molds are NOT useless!

Yeah I really like that you actually got for the price something you can use with other crafts and play.
@sithisxv Resin is toxic. You can't use a mold for food after you've used it for resin. YOU can do it, but don't tell people that. Someone will assume you know what you are talking about and do it without research. Remember folks - Google is free!
Thanks for trying new Elmer's Squishies! We hope you have fun with them! We do sell refill packs so you can use the molds again and again. And we also wanted to share that if your squishies gets a little dusty, you can simply rinse them in water and it won't impact the integrity of your character.

On Christmas day I will get 100 boxes of Elmer's glue squishies
Tip: the four pack will actually make five. My daughter and I were making one per night and had extra after each mold, so I started putting it in the unicorn. Now we have made all four and have a bonus rainbow unicorn!
It didn’t separate since they dried at different times?
I think the glue you use changes the amount of time you need to let it set, like the metallic is a bit more "filled" than regular or glitter glue. So it may take longer to set not being able to have light pass through it as easily so it can solidify properly.

As far as I can tell, the “secret mix” is a platinum-cured silicone making kit. The added glue makes it stickier and squishier than standard silicone, and it would be interesting to make more of these with different ratios of glue or other slimes to the silicone mix.
I'd like to get more molds so I could use different ones for soap molds and I'd like to have more of a variety.
You can get solution packs with just 2 molds.

this comment is sooo underrated! you're exactly right, it fulfills so many elements of a good surprise that, i'm certain, even my almost-11 year old son, who is fast-becoming "too old" for "child's play" will still have fun w these.
personally, never having seen this channel, (and somewhat surprisingly, given my sun's UA-cam history, lol) i am impressed by the review and will definitely be snatching up some of these for Xmas!
My son and I just made these tonight. He loved it! And with the extra mix after filling the molds, we put the excess into the bottom of a plastic egg. It set up great and came out good. It now looks like we made a pedestal for our squish to stand on. And there should be just the ingredients to make more. We too want to make a little colony with different colored squishies. I came across your video after my daughter begged me to get these for her for Christmas. Thanks to your video, I will. I love the ideas about using the molds with Play-Doh or clay later. You could make keychains, ornaments, etc.
Elmers is just getting better and better through the years
Refill packs are out, tho personally I think what would be cool is using air clay or plaster, make a mold and then paint them.
Did you find them at Walmart? I didn’t see them when I bought these.

I saw these at my local Walmart today and they now have solution refill packs so you use the molds again!
Hello! In every video on start you are drinking…nevermind still its so fun to watch you! I love love LOVE fidget or squishy toys!!! At last friday i ordered a yellow squishy duck, pink sand filled duck (didnt know there was sand), shiba inu squishy toy and rainbow one and the box with them was delivered at monday…they are so cuteeeeeeeeeeeee! Have a nice day and make new fun videos and ill watch them!

I got the Elmer’s squishys and I got a glitter one and I only saw one spark if glitter. I was super sad but it is still super fun to make!
They sell the special mix solutions on the walmart website, too.
FYI there is a refill pack with 6 of each secret solution so you can use the molds again 🌟
ooo these are interesting, once done making the glue solution, try a different product with the molds like clay or your own squishy solution =)

We would use the molds with play-doh or clay. I don’t know if they would work all that well but worth a try.

I am curious on what else can be used in the mold. Like soap, resin, chocolate, candles, etc.
I’m not sure if they’re good safe. But maybe all the rest.
You could send them to nerdy Crafter or see if you can use her not another crap kit and do like the plaster molds of them just a thought

I had an idea for what you could use the moulds for! You could fill them with glue and put them in a bowl of activator the activator would make the glue go solid. idk if this would work?

Bennett actually is a "rock monster", believe it or not! That's what he's referred to as on the website, at least. Lane is an armadillo, Hugo is actually an eagle (I completely agree with you that he looks more like a gargoyle, but that's what they said he was), Lulu (my favorite out of these) is a frog, Kai is a dragon, Angus is an elephant, and Gerald is a troll. So you got pretty much all of their species right. Again, I agree that Hugo looks more like a gargoyle than an eagle. These are nonetheless pretty cool, and I would love to have one for myself.

I made some and they turned out awesome.
Is there any other type of solutions to use to make more squishes? The refill pack is about $17 and you don’t get much in the pack. I am trying to see if there is a more reasonably priced way to make more and to reuse these molds? Any help would be appreciated 😊

The molds you can store the squishy’s in So they don’t get dirty or I guess they can dry out
The squishies do not dry out. I would recommend keeping them off fabrics though as they leach oil on surfaces, but even then that oil can easily be washed off with soaps and laundry detergent.
you should have done a multi-coloured squishy to see how it works out
I had to hold my breath on the ones that looked like it was really sticky but it was successful

I’m just wondering if you mixed a little bit of gelatin powder in with the Elmer’s glue, it would help the mold set up better? Give a little more integrity to the shape? Just wondering as I began watching this at 4 am. LOL!
I would reuse the molds for other things let your creativity run wild
