John Lennon interview from the Dakota 8_12_80. Talks time he met Paul, Sean & Double fantasy.
I'm still uploading from my old tablet although I'm finally into my old laptop so I'll be uploading everything I have. I don't want to get suspended again due to YokoOnoOfficial and UMG so I have to be careful but I really want you all to see everything I have so I'll be getting round a lot of that in the upcoming podcast, I won't bore you with how but you'll see when it starts. I have two interviews already recorded but I'm not very happy with them because of the quality of the sound so I saved up for a new computer and microphone equipment (it will make such a huge difference) and the microphone equipment should be here next week. Once it's all setup a Beatlemaniac from my city will be coming over and he's going to be the first interview I upload. I'm very very nervous so I want the 1st episode I upload to be with someone I know. He's very funny, he's a Beatles obsessive and you're going to like him. It's cost me a fortune to get everything I need so I assure the podcast is going ahead no matter what!
About the video above. It was on my tablet and I don't have much information about this interview although I don't need to, every Beatlemaniac will be familiar with some of the Lennonesque quotes and the interview is definitely from the 8th of December 1980 😔

The fact that this interview is from the day we lost him makes it extra painful. He was so wise and wholesome in the 1980s interviews I´ve heard. He was no longer that angry and resentful guy he could be when he was younger. The 5 years as a stay at home dad seems to have changed him. He was still extremely honest like only Lennon can be, but he said it in a nicer way.
Seeing the date of this just breaks my heart.😞
There's so much love in this interview. One listen to this and you "get" John and Yoko's chemistry. Those cheeky sparks. And I like how he compliments Yoko and Paul in the same breath. That's an adhesive. That's a reminder for any difficulties between Yoko and Paul going forward: they're in an exclusive club. John thought the world of Yoko and John thought the world of Paul. Few others are in that class.
I love to hear him speaking, after all these years.
