So this was right off the beach, bout a quarter mile south of the pier on the second reef line. That’s about 100-150 yards out. Maybe 20 foot of water at deepest.
lilperchhunter the first reef is only about 20-30 yards off the beach, with a bad depth of about 15-20 foot. The second reef is about 100 yards off shore, max depth 25-30 foot. I don’t snorkel much, but it’s a pretty Nic beach dive.
Nicholas Beaufrand I would never hunt out of season. They take it pretty seriously down here. But the video makes me realize, you don’t need to go out on a boat to find some lobsters. They’re right off the beach!
where in pompanobeach was that and how far out to the bugs and how deep?
from palm beach

@@AdamZweibaum thanks, the 1st reef sounds like a great place to explore.
How many, if any, can you catch a day per person? What is the bag limit?
Bob Martin if it’s in season, and you have a license, you can catch up to 6 a day per person
And I see you published on August 11th, but was your diving around that time or before the fishing season started?
I wasn’t trying to capture them at all, just enjoying diving and working on camera skills.
Adam Zweibaum I know you weren’t which is why I asked if you dove out of season.

Wow, beautiful colors on that camera. How deep were you diving give or take?
Nicholas Beaufrand this was from a beach dive off Pompano Beach. I was Maybe 15-20 deep at most.
