Hunt and augmen shooting the 3s and scoring a bucket from.anywhere and some other role players that complimented the team well. A Lil lazy and not focused at times tho. But scary good. He had a DUI and was in the Jefferson St jail, in Atlanta and I knew before going to pick him up...I needed his mini-tv so I could watch the game. Kenny Anderson was a tremendous talent... However, in Tarks defensive scheme, Greg Anthony is a better fit... Greg Anthony is a premier defense player and the leader of the team.
Kenny Anderson was a Georgetown fan. Wore the Hoya jacket in between classes at high school. He was a lock for Georgetown, but John Thompson put little effort in recruiting him because he was spending his time prepping for the Olympics.

Unfortunately they picked the wrong team to try and do it against for the full 40! Vegas during their heyday of success were the Runnin' Rebels for a reason! That, coupled with Georgia Tech's lack of solid depth and the altitude, played right into Vegas' hands and Tech eventually wore down after the break! When u have athletes with outside games like Tech had u need your legs and they lost those in the second half! Even the great jump shooters like Dennis Scott need their legs or their shots shorten up! I vividly remember that game well and when Tech continued to push the pace throughout the first half I knew they'd be in trouble with a limited bench

Born and raised in Vegas, still here ("U. N.ever L.eave V.egas")... was the best time ever for the city... I was a young teen & even though the Rebs by far absorbed all of us ("where we as kids chose who we were when playing pickup games with the neighbors" ---i was Augmon or Anthony everytime lol).... But, straight up, the only collegiate parka jacket (en vogue in the 90's) I owned was that of Georgia Tech (still have it)... It was the game where Kenny Anderson did that reverse behind the back dribble from one hand to the other that mesmerized me as a kid....
In a fashion sense, this game was a preview of things to come once the Fab Five came on the scene. Many players on both teams were sporting compression shorts under their regular basketball shorts. The Fab Five simply expounded on that trend.
The 4 keys to the game: 1. Rocky Mountain High - Moses Scurry with a huge game off the bench, provided a bigger lift than Georgia Tech's sixth man, Karl Brown (who had a solid game before fouling out) 2. "Augmon" Tation - Augmon had a sensational game and was instrumental in the second half comeback 3. Kenny do it? - Yes he can! Not quite enough to overcome a more talented team, however 4. Three point Hunt-er - He hunted them down! 5 big threes shoot down the Yellow Jackets!
