When I was first introduced to Finnick, he felt and seemed like one of those bad boy characters. But as the series progressed, I realized that he was a charming, much sweeter boy. Finnick is and will always be in my top 5 favorites, as he also holds one of my favorite quotes. “It wasn’t until after your first games, I thought the whole romance was an act- it wasn’t until Peeta’s heart stopped and he nearly died that I knew, I misjudged you.” Finnick Mockingjay 1. Idk why I like this quote so much it just holds a special place in my heart. I hated that they decided to kill of Finnick, but if they had killed off some background character, would it have been that moving and interesting? Yeah it was sad but ever story needs drama, and the hunger games is full of it. I don’t mean that as criticism, I enjoy movie drama because without it, the movie is just boring.
