listening to a couple of other podcasts the way the lists came into fruition for Nightstalkers and Matsudan was different. For the Nightstalkers the Firefight RC lead the way with them setting down the basics, such as weapons and base size which the DZ RC then adapted. For the Matsudan it was the other way around with the DZ RC taking the lead.
I saw that in the Discord, it is a cool model. I just think it’s so annoying that you have to unravel a mystery of the models. They should just have the KOW models on the DZ website

one thing thats cool to see with the nightstalkers is the point cost of the models. there not so impressive units are cheap so you will see way different teams built. i hope one day mantic will re look at some of the point cost on minis you never see in deadzone. a good example is for enforcers there AJAX STRIDER, for 50 points. most tournaments ive played here in the USA has been 175. thats almost 30% of the army. even 200pt games its one forth. sure you can force it in games and ive tried but all the other player needs to do is take out my other units and ignore the big beast of a mech and just do objectives to win easy. now with all this complaining i do love the new peace keepers with phase claws. so even with bad units out there manic is making new ones good. (except the NOVASHOCK PEACEKEEPERs. cough cough... they suck... cough)
Man. I agree %10000, the FF, Enforces are really so overpriced. Also, living legends are we overcosted too. No reason the take them, unless you play a 250 game. I think an overhaul of the points has been long overdue.
I haven't had a chance to watch your breakdown yet, but looking through the rules, I'm really disappointed that the Reapers don't have Agile. They really look like they should have some movement ability
I think Agile would be a good addition. Although, they have all the Nightstalkers key words, they are a really good fight unit. Fight 4+, companion, for 13 points. They are pretty good. Although, they only move 1-2.
Question: you think Scarecrows get a stat update in a month or two? I think the easy fix is to just make them cost 1VP. It immediately removes the spam desires and makes you play the rest of the faction models.
I'm going out to buy a strike force right now. However I have one question - Nightstalkers seem to be the big bad but where does this leave Plague, vibe-wise are they being replaced by Nightstalkers as the real Lore-Themed Threat?
I like them too. I do think the plague are still huge threat. Maybe the Plague want us to believe that they aren’t a threat anymore, may be their plan all along. I think these guys are cool, but we are in the honeymoon phase now. More factions is a good thing.

One thing tho, lately I've been getting a lot, and I mean A LOT, shorts of you guys sitting i the outside bunker, talking it out bout the comming of the Nameless, while smoking all the good stuff, and it all is wellamd swell, but once I statred to have like 20 of those notifications per day, I statred to Wonder is there a way to calm it downa a bit? Becouse at this piont, frankly it has become a issue up to the piont, where I'm considering unsub Just to make this things stop...

Yes, I get that Ian, but I see them as 2 completely differently games. Thats why they have 2 different RC, and therefore rule sets.
The NightStalker faction looks like a really fun faction to play with.

Cavern Dweller is a KoW model indeed. He is for Northern Alliance: no eyed beast with claws for days. Beautiful model in my opinion. Love it.

Cavern dweller was originally released in the League of Infamy Kickstarter as a stretch goal iirc. Later on, it was put into general release
