I was lucky enough to see them in Columbia MO 2 months ago, absolutely amazing concert. If you get a chance don't miss it.
This band is great fun. I've heard this configuration and an earlier one with James Carter as the second saxophonist. Both were terrific.
Very good video and music. I well remember the sextet that recorded Something Else. It was one of the greatest Jazz recordings ever made. Also a fantastic uptown jazz club.
You guys are great. And younger than me (LOL) i was covering these tunes when they came out! And on the right gig these work every time-to this day!
