I’ve read that the heater core being blocked can also cause the car to overheat due to lack of circulation of the coolant. Any ideas if there’s any weight to that?
thx for the tip on the coolant leaking problem via the heater core . not related but do you know of anyone willing to replace the cam chains on this vehicle. I have 270000 km and they probably need doing ,cheers
Hey Russell! Don't have anyone I'd recommend, it's a big engine out job from what I understand. Mine are rattling too, probably need doing soon. Good luck with your T4!

Even if the heater core is blocked the cooling system will still circulate through the engine and radiator.
