I loved the Marie Antoinette back story while watching you create! I like that much more than music in the background. I also love the ship chest. All your work is so good!!
You can do it! Anyone can, you just set your mind to it and get a natural high from the outcome, then you are hooked! Thank you so much for the lovely compliment and watching!
They were all so creative, but loved the Cloche & the box. I'm here a little late so your etsy link is showing it's sold (NOT surprised but a little bummed I didn't get to see it). Thank you again for sharing your talent & creativity.
I absolutely love to watch you work! You’re not afraid to try different stuff and you just keep doing it till you get it the way you want it. That’s what I mean by fearless crafting ❤❤❤I love all of these
Salt wash give a gritty, texture look to your projects and is great at covering small chips or imperfections especially when recycling an item. You can find it on many different websites. Including; Jami Ray Vintage, and Debi's Design Diary. Hope this helps and thank you for the question.
Marie ann toinette was not the original woman the necklace was made for, she hadn't wanted it. But someone went behind her back to get rid of it. Although she was innocent, her reputation was ruined. It was a whole scand.
My mother, enamored like you, of French things named me Antoinette. Took me until 3rd grade to learn to write it. Lol. I do and always have loved French country looks. I'd love to find those decoupage papers. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Sharon, all your projects turned out beautiful! I'm inspired by your style; it's definitely a cool vibe. Thank you for teaching, it's so appreciated!
Just found you so this is my 1st video from you I've watched. I absolutely love everything in this video. This is the decor I love. My favorite was the 2 portraits . Will definitely be checking out more on your channel.
Stunningly Gorgeous!!! Of course I really love all of them since I am a dark & moody Academia kinda gal ! ❤ Love the boxes AND the back stories ! The ladies framed are my favorite 😍! You did an amazing job! I'm off to see what's in the captains box !!Take care and TFS my friend!!
Sharon. I just love this video so much! I want it to go on and on. You're the queen of dark- and moody and dark romantic. I'm going to check you channel now to see, but I'm almost sure there will be some dark academia projects too?
Hi, I'm fairly new. I loved everything, I really enjoyed the story on Marie Antoinette. I have to be honest,I'm not really into ships, but OMG I loved the box, cant wit for the video on what you put inside. Actually the way I discovered you and subscribed was because of the Dr. curiosity cabinet. You are very talented, I look forward to more videos, I'm planning to do my living room dark academia dark and moody for the first time ever. I'm 51. Oh I do have one complaint, I wish it would have been longer, LOL. God Bless.
Yay!!! Thank you and Welcome. I am 51 too! I do the cabinets separate so it doesn't make the original video so long and can something a non-crafter may watch, so yay! Thank you for letting me know that is how you found me!
A newbie here and i love everything in this video. Am doing my bathroom in this type of deco. Am finding it hard to get into the Etsy link. Do you sell all of these items either all ready made or the papers? Life in England, Will keep watching everything you do, Thank you for sharing. xxx
Having already watched the video where you told the story about the Captain’s Chest I couldn’t wait to see how you made it but I got so distracted with the other gorgeous projects I was surprised when it came up ! I loved them all but the chest is still my favourite 😊
The back story on the ladies....interesting! The details and layers on your pieces give it more depth. Thank you for the how to's! New sub here! All your projects are gorgeous!
New subscriber here! Anything Marie Antoinette related gets my attention! A majority of her spending was also due to French court etiquette . Not wearing clothes more than once etc. The lady did spend though lol !! Your pieces were truly cool and you convey your techniques very well ! Thank you
It was a wood type sign from Hobby Lobby. I covered the word, I think it was Blessed. Those signs are everywhere at the Thrift stores, I buy them and paint over them and use them for Art up cycles!
I like the Marie-Antoinette story I definitely love that picture a lot. I watched a lot of history about her on television while I was creating a outfit in that style an error and one time I went to a masquerade ball and did my hair without a wig. Can you put this giant thick wool sock under my hair I rolled it up like a cinnamon roll. Then the next time I decided that I would buy a big wig. I actually had to stuff paper under it because it was so tall, and it was really fun to wear, my friend and I had so much fun at that masquerade ball dress so fancy my husband got a 17 piece pattern and made himself a captains jacket And he end up getting white hosiery that went just below his knee. It was so funny watching him try to put nylons on. Either way she was utilized in a horrible way. They made her this princess when she was a young girl and didn’t educate her enough in politics and money and how running a country works even though they were Preining her to be a princess, a.k.a. queen, because of the families position, and then she end up being made for the king weaklings incompetencies etc also many people in that society were completely sucking up, horrible, weak, lack of priorities, just shocking
That sounds cool about the costume and your husband making his own, wow!!! I bet that was fun!! Agreed she was def a scape goat for the king. Thank you for sharing your outfit story!!!
I've read a number of Marie biographies, and it seems that the escape of the royal fammily failed by fifteen minutes because she had to get ready and was, of course, late. I can relate to that. Additionally, the love of her life, Axel, was torn to pieces by an angry crowd. Her son, Louis xvii, is said to have died in prison two years after he became king upon his father's execution.
A representation of rebel Celtic Queen Boadicea (a symbol of England famed for her red hair) holding a ship representing the dominance of the British Empire on the seas. My guess.

Welcome, and yes me too I have been a fan of hers for years! She was definitely a spender!
What did you use to put the maria antoinette on? Is it a tray? A piece of glass?
It was a wood type sign from Hobby Lobby. I covered the word, I think it was Blessed. Those signs are everywhere at the Thrift stores, I buy them and paint over them and use them for Art up cycles!
oh ok, I saw the tray with the ship lady but not Marie, thanks
The notorious women were my favourites! So moody and romantic ad the commentary was a bonus, thank you. Also love the Captains tiny chest.
