Great video. Got a 2023 Uforce 1000XL with a KFI 72" plow and actuator to move the blade left/right. I also changed out the winch cable to the KFI flat strap and riser which makes the plowing much better. The regular winch cable got tangled after plowing 2x and why I changed out the winch cable for the winter. Also added some blade side markers. Live in NH.
Thx for watching! I bet the snow you get in Russia is more than we get here. Great to hear from someone in Russia. Welcome to the channel, don't forget to Subscribe. :)
Absolutely! This is my first time with a plow on a four wheeler I actually look forward to it snowing hahah!! It's alot of fun to move that white stuff around! Thx for your comment and hope to bring more videos you like in the future! :)
Noticed your not letting the plow relax enough to "float"... meaning you need to allow the winch line out a little more to allow the plow's weight to help clear the surface better, and to allow the plow to follow the contours of the surface. If you watch, you're actually lifting the plow off of the ground upon initial acceleration... Stay safe!
Thank you! was my first year plowing woth a 4wheeler. I will for sure keep this in mind when the snow starts to fly again! Thank you for the tip!!! I appreciate it!
I have only had 5 winters here in Finland, so I can't imagine 45! But I have a 300m (900ft?) driveway on 1.2 ha (3 acres), and the snow has exhausted me and at times felt like it was breaking me! After a broken snow blower and an old Husqvarna lawn mower rigged up with a plough, I have at last convinced my wife that an ATV with a plough is worth the investment. I got her to watch this video last week, and I think she finally gets it. So today I bought a CFMoto CForce 520L (similar to 500 US model), and I can't wait for it to arrive next week. A winter workhorse plus a summer time toy, and they are road legal here, so even better. So thanks heaps for this video. Just a normal real-world experience and it got me over the line with the wife! 😁👍🏻 Cheers!
I love hearing that! Removing snow with about a plow is a real back breaker. Having the 4 wheeler to do it for you makes it fun, and it's fast! I'm glad my video helped you convince your wife to get one! lol, I'm love it. Thanks for your comment and for watching the video. I hope you subscribe:),Very cool.to know someone from Ginland is watching a little old me here in the small state of NH in the US. :).
I know it's a typo, but I love that you typed Ginland, not Finland! 🤣 there are some good gin producers here 😁 We travelled down the East Coast of the US 10 years ago, including New Hampshire (we drove over 6,000 miles across 18 states in 7 weeks 🤪). My favourite parts were the North Eastern States... still American, but with a little Olde Europe flavour here and there. Loved the Autumn colours too.. Subscribed 👍🏻😊
The northeast is a beautiful place. I have driven across this country a few times, and other than the North East, my next favorite spot is out west. Nevada, Arizona area. Absolutely gorgeous. I had the opportunity to do some off-roading in the desert outside of Las Vegas. That was a great experience! Thank you for subscribing. You will come to notice I put a lot of videos out of the summer months as the winter here is very cold, and it is hard for me to keep the outdoor video production up during those months. I do my best to put out at least one video a month during the winter months.
I don't know about New Hampshire, but in Maine, it is illegal to push across the road. I think it falls under the title of illegal dumping, and for a first-time offense, it is a $2,500.00 dollar fine.
Yeah I'm from Massachusetts . It's not so fun working on my 950 these days. I'm pretty closed in and it's worm riding. But I've had my whips for a few days and I'm not into putting them on right away. Lol. That plow works pretty nice. Yeah lots of people take the shoes off. Thanks for sharing bro. Happy holidays.
Thx Thomas! I was like a kid in a candy shop! hahaha!! Who knew it could be so much fun! just got in from plowing again. suddenly winter isn't so bad! lol Cheers to you and thanks for watching! Always love the comments!! :)
Yeah it's great to have a plow. Before I retired I had a hundred and one driveways that I took care of at a huge price called the American in. In southwick Massachusetts. I did them for 11 years. So I have had my share of plowing . Lol. I was thinking of putting a plow on my 950. Just for my property. Which has a pretty good amount of driveway. I just got a new snowblower this fall. But you looked like you were having fun. Lol. So I think I might get a plow for my rig. Sorry about the long text. Lol. I like the channel and you really remind me of me lol thank you. God bless.
i have the 60" KFI plow on my 600t works great i added the rubber top foil to get the snow to roll more when deeper i also added the KFI pullys cause ive herd a lot of complaint of cables breaking im in Maine
I was looking at that KFI pulley online. I think I may go thar way as well. No cable issues at this time but i am seeing some flex in the stock fairlead since plowing. a little lean to the left. Good feedback. thx for watching video. I appreciate every one of you. :)
I have a `20 Cforce 600T and I would use snow removal as an excuse to ride it in the winter, however, I bought a 25 horse TYM tractor last fall, so...yeah, my driveway is spotless and then I take my wheeler out for a beating. Btw, tip your cam down just a little so we can see the action at the blade, please. Oh and in Maine it`s illegal to push snow across the road, although a lot of people seem to do it anyway, just fyi. Great stuff, new sub, thanks
Yes!! The cam angle! it was my first plow video and when doing the endit I realised same. Should have taken more time to adjust the angle on the head cam. I was like a kid in a candy shop wanting to play. Becuase of that, some detail in the final vid suffered! Lesson is! Don't rush when making tube vids!! ;) Thx for the feedback again Papa York! :)
Hi Wayne! You are 100% correct! My new system of plowing does not include doing this. That was my first time. Now i push into top of driveway and lift plow as i push to make the banks higher. :) Learning as i go. Looks like a real big storm coming later this week! Where shall i put all the snow! LOL My driveway is about to get smaller. HAHA
Looks like your plow feet brackets are upside down. That would make the angle of the feet work against you. The little notch on the bracket should be on the bottom. Looks like it is on the top of yours. By flipping it around the feet will not dig into the ground. Hope this helps!
absolutely I agree and it was so windy that day! I need a lapel mic! Thx for saying g that becuase its something I really need to invest in quickly as I grow this channel! The feedback is extremely welcome! :) Thx Papa York! :)
Thank You so much Dat! You are going to have a blast! If the 800 can push this around with 0 issues the 1000 is even gonna impress more! Amazing machines!!! :) Hit members up when you get it and let me know how it worked out@ My bet is you will be impressed. Remember, with CFMOTO plow in low always. :)
@@SimplyNewEngland It's going to be doing steep mountain side plowing in the Colorado Rockies. I'm happy to hear that the u-force should have plenty of power. I've only put 13 miles on it messing around in my driveway, but it seems to have loads of power. Note taken on low range 👍
Easy as pie. it all bolts on to exsisting bolt pattern (a plow plate) and then, for the plow it self. once assembled. (easy) it connects to the plate under the 4 wheeler with two large cotter pins.
Good you didn't get a lot of snow there. Cfmoto is really good atv, I love my 520 L and use it for snowplowing a lot of snow and I'm using a cheap plow that works good enough.
That is a very good question David I have not plowed with the 500 but I have been seeing in the CF moto everything group on Facebook many folks are using a 500 and seem to not have a complaint about it, based on what I have been seeing I would say the 500 does a heck of a job plowing
