I’m a junior in Highschool, I’ve mained flute for two years now, and I just started saxophone to beef my bands sax section up, and I have to play this after only playing alto for two weeks so far, I’m actually doing pretty good- and I’m really happy my band is doing this piece lmao
@Brody-xm8rn The high school I went to was massive, and we had four different bands. We had a wind ensemble and a symphonic band, but we just didn't use the term "wind ensemble".
@ActuallyRex That's just what we called it in high school. It used to be the concert band, concert winds, and symphony band. They added the freshman band in 2017, and they recently got rid of one of them, last I saw. They're still doing good, at least.
@@johnnytheyoungmaestro Right, I understand that. I was pointing out that what the the other user (@Brody-xm8rn) said was because it was called concert band, generally the lowest level band. Glad to hear that they are doing good! Have a great day (or night)

God loves even though we sin. Come to god.
I played this in Concert Band when I was a senior in high school, and it was such a fun piece! I hope to conduct it soon!
Concert band as a senior? You didn’t have wind ensemble?

@@johnnytheyoungmaestro I think the confusion here was that "concert band" usually refers to a level less than wind ensemble or symphonic band.
