I am not thin enough to comfortably appendix carry but even if I was: I don't like a gun pointed at my junk/femoral artery area. I have tied it and find it uncomfortable, I have had some IBS issues and anything pressing on my stomach or guts is uncomfortable at best and some days it would be really painful. I carry daily and OWB 90% of the time, at 3:30 to 4:30 on the right hand side, untucked shirt, and no one notices ever. Draw stroke might be a hair slower than someone running appendix, but I am a firm believer in situational awareness trumps pure draw time, daily life is not an old west gunfight in the street at noon.
I cannot let my mind be pleased about pointing a loaded gun there either. Just can't do it. Digressing a bit, on the IBS thing, I was kind of going down that road myself but found "Floristor" a strain of S. Boulardi yeast did the trick, probably just a shot in the dark but you never know.
I like what works for me, OWB. It is comfortable. I live on a ranch. Squatting down, bending over, climbing into vehicles, anything inside the waste is not going to work. Try building fence, dealing with livestock, climbing up on a tractor with a gun shoved down the front of your pants. Just try it. You will change your mind by lunch.
This is not a hammerless revolver, it is a concealed-hammer revolver. I guarantee, if you take the thing apart down to the screws and springs and whatever else, you're going to find the hammer... it's just concealed. Easy mistake when commenting during filming, but I wanted to toss it out there that this most definitely is not a hammerless revolver. It has a hammer, it's just concealed. Loved the video. You guys always do great work. Keep them coming. 👍🇺🇲
I didn’t think I could carry appendix, tried multiple times and found it uncomfortable and restrictive, then when I bought my Staccato C, there were only appendix holsters on the market, I bought one that looked like I might be able to make work at my normal carry spot, started watching videos on appendix carry and that caused me to start trying slightly different positions, found out that I can carry at about 1 and it’s the most comfortable spot I’ve ever carried. At 3-4, I either had to constantly hike my pants back up at the holster or have my belt so tight that it hurt my back (have a sports related back injury). At my current position, my belt can be looser, it’s more comfortable, and it’s easily accessible, because it’s not at my 12, it’s not pointing at my junk either, points right between that and my leg so I’m not flagging myself, especially with the pillow wedge that tips the barrel away from me.
A good way to quickly reload when using a revolver is to switch to your 2nd weapon. Carrying a .357 Mag as your primary weapon reduces the likelihood of needing to reload.
I'm also not a fan of appendix carry. As a former cop and firearms instructor as well as a Jiu-Jitsu instructor I can tell you there are a lot of problems with appendix carry. There are really only two reason ppl carry that way. 1) as you said, its the cool new hotness and all the Instagram guys are doing it. 2) It may be .25 of a second faster to draw under perfect conditions.
@@maxximus2012 Oh by all means do tell us about all the other reasons you would want an AIWB. It doesn't conceal better, its not easier to get to in a car, and its much easier for someone to stuff the draw. So tell me about all these other advantages it offers. I'll wait.
I have always carried appendix. Let's just say my relationship with firearms didn't start from a law abiding citizen standpoint. It's really hard for me to imagine even trying to carry any other way
That uncomfortable feeling is your lack of knowledge and ability. The only thing that’s lame is your unwillingness to train and practice to get that ability and gain the knowledge.

Tulster Rath. Great little J frame holster.
Hope y'all are having a great day guys!!
At 4 o’clock it is also pointed at the arteries in your leg every other step.
No one near me carries any .32 ammo, and since i'm in NYS, we can't purchase on line. Presently gathering supplies to make my own.
Same situation. NY sucks.
You can order online. You have to have it shipped to a FFL
@@kevinfuller6759 it's not cost effective when ordering just a few boxes.
My local FFLs only charge a 5-7$ fee for the background check. Could you order ammo directly through the FFL
@kevinfuller6759 $20 for them to receive the ammo $9 for the background check by me.
Never cared for it myself. To each their own.
Sig users out here dissin' AIWB...
Oh man! Not another one. 😂🤣
If you’re worried about your trigger discipline while carrying appendix, you probably shouldn’t be carrying at all
Prefer 9oclock and/or shoulder holster
It is uncomfortable for me, as is all iwb concealed carry. I open carry always everywhere.
I carry cross draw appendix. What do you think about that?? 😂😂

Too much Jack. Not enough getting down into it. That's all I got to say about that

If you are worried about a gun going off in a holster, you are carrying the wrong gun, wrong holster, or both.
True, but guns do occasionally go into and out of holsters, right?
@@MartinVeneroso only a concern if you have a sketchy gun and/or holster and no care for proper gun handling.
