Sehr interessant. Karl May ist luxuriöser gereist bei seiner Amerikareise. Der hat erst darüber geschrieben und dann erst seine Reisen gemacht. Vielleicht hat er gar Reiseberichte von Gerstäcker gelesen, zwischen beiden liegen 25 Jahre.

I thought the Museum was closed?
In honor of Gerstacker we will be reenacting a bear hunt camp this fall (2022) at the site where Erskin is buried in north west Arkansas. Tim Richardson, 5-15-22
