This is a brilliant piece of living history, and one within which my previous Island existence may have a walk-on part. I made that same journey! Well done Paul.
Very well done, great song to go with the films. Such a devastating event for the island, i remember visiting the following summer and seeing how very different a lot of places looked. Like your friend in the song, i managed to sleep right through it after a heavy session down the pub. The following morning i made my way home through south London, could not believe the amount of destruction, and certainly wondered how on earth i slept through it all. Was very sad to hear of the damage caused on the island - a place i have always loved visiting.

Extraordinary - I had forgotten how devastating the storm was on the Island. Brilliant film and music, all those memories...
