    I work with Veterans all the time with P.T.S.D. You ever need to talk , you know how to reach me. When you fall off a horse, you get back on and defeat that fear, which you have done. Great Job!

    The table is absolutely gorgeous! You should be very proud of yourself for all of your accomplishments to date. Your sobriety is the greatest gift you will ever give your children. Trust me when I say this, my mom was an alcoholic and she couldn't get sober. It was the only thing I ever wished for in my life and I was 46 when she died. Sending you all the good vibes for continued success in all you do!

    I'm not scared of a table saw, a router on the other hand, definitely the scariest in my opinion, especially in a router table.

    I love watching you work, you make so many different and beautiful pieces. As far as you being a random anything, not a chance, you are awesome because of you being you and your works, whether that being in your art or your sobriety. What you are is an Inspiration!

    Hi Nita.
    Saw your last clip too. Where you showed us your routers. I think the router that you said you had your injury with is the same router I have. It's the only one I have too.
    What 5 bits of advice can you give to stay safe. Just about to flatten my first table
    Thanks
    J

      I was using my palm router in my accident, don't ever get complacent, take your tiny, clamp when you can. I was using a flush trim router bit, use your safety gear. Protect your eyes. Don't rush

      I have been woodworking for 30 years and I hate hearing these accident stories but realize it's a good opportunity to learn. Did the bit fly out? I had a big bit fly out of a big router once and hit me in the leg, luckily I had thick pants on so no injury. You make beautiful tables.@@NitasFluidWoodworks

    So glad you are ok now, but that's a bad ass table, I was on opioids for 11 years, and got clean for 2 years now the Dr's have me back on them, for a bad surgery on my foot a d now have to have a total ankle replacement, and now I'm going to be dealing with with draws aging at some point its so damb hard 😢

    My seal coats are not smooth... They are wavy..... Do I sand those? Or do I need to just trust the process? I'm so close to done and so scared I'm going to mess up....

    • @NitasFluidWoodworks
      @NitasFluidWoodworks  6 місяців тому +1

      Trust the process! Seal coats are just too seal the wood.. then the flood self levels

  • @MsMongo88

    Is there a reason you don't just use like white melamine for the form instead of the that tape?

    • @NitasFluidWoodworks
      @NitasFluidWoodworks  10 місяців тому

      Yeah cuz this is actually melamine. It only works for so long. Then I coat it in tuck tape, I've used this for 2 years
