My favorite series is definitely you sweating out new characters and taking them to tournaments. Even if there isn’t a tournament in every video, I love watching you learn new characters on Elite Smash and with the rest of the Underdogs.
I would love for you to bring back some "Win or Dare", that would be amazing to see again as you seemed to really enjoy them. Either that or you try to speedrun the first segments of games that you have never played before? Just an idea
@@Thiquid there’s only so many characters, he’s limited on the number of original games. I don’t mind him playing some twice but some of the games aren’t things I personally would want to see him play again
I wanna see a series of you teaching people how to improve in smash, (IE professor cogger bc I love yall's dynamic and also cogger getting really good would be a good bit lol)
@@parzival-bo Have to agree, Hop and Cogger are about the same, but Cogger is definitely not as good. Teaching Cogger how to play would be hilariously fun!
I love the top level analysis videos, they’re entertaining and give us all some tips. Maybe analyze protobanham beating leo? Or Jake beating kola? Lots of good sets recently
Loving the "harsher" analysis. I've learned a lot from watching your videos and I was even encouraged enough to go to a local monthly for the first time recently.
Tips for people who asked for them in the video: Byleth: Poppt1 tips + go for grab more or different defensive options besides just shield. Empty hop grab/nair is a really powerfull 50/50 for characters with good landing aerials like Byleth. Edgeguard with nair to catch the tether it’s broken and lasts forever. Kirby: the foundations are really there but like poppt said you just need more practice. In terms of combos you need to not only fish for landing dair (grab, fair, and dtilt are great combo tools as well.) also you need to play more reactionary (for scenarios like the dsmash at ledge you would have hit it if you waited and reacted but sometimes it harder online to react. Good Kirby overall tho. Ash: Falcon: Go for more nair 1 confirms, it’s super safe and broken. Also space your back airs/upairs and tilts instead of using Falcon kick as much. WAIT more in neutral.! Falcon is fast enough to react in this matchup and many others if you stay within burst range (about .5-2.5 roll distances or about the distance of Falcon kick) jab at ledge occasionally, go for run off jump back dair instead of always hard committing to the run off (so you keep, stage control) or you cloud also TSPIKE very well with Falcon(harder to explain but check a guide or something but it’s similar to the other dair timing). Knee from ledge at high% is a funny mixup but only in advantage. Upsmash is a super fast bair or anti air on platforms. Don’t always approach, mix up rush down, doing nothing, retreating, and camping occasionally. Last tip is just go for mixups more in neutral and have a good autopilot. You already seem solid autopilot wise but throwing in the occasional crouch wait, footstool Falcon kick, jablock or knee confirm can work wonders! Stay chill and get the kill gamers 👍🏾 (hopefully the people who asked see this 🙃)
I was the Mario, and I would love some tips! I really struggle against Swordies, and while in person I would just counterpick with Inkling, you can’t switch in online 😔
Hey Poppt! Hope you’re doing well! Kind of a random suggestion, but I think you should do a throwback “the mind of” video, with all of the stuff going on in competitive Smash these days!
12:44 For whatever it's worth, I absolutely enjoy the analyzing. It may not be directed toward me at all (yet), but I tend to recognize some of my own flaws watching these GSP guessing videos and your commentary is just genuinely helpful even to someone like myself who's watching from the sidelines. (Plus I'm just too poor to pay for a coach, lol.)
Out of all the series, my top 2 are the You Lose You Play The OG and Guess The GSP respectively. You lose You Play is my favourite because it gives you the opportunity to play some absolutely amazing games, add variety to the channel, and keep The Almighty Algorithm on your side by still being primarily smash, just with a twist. Guess The GSP is my second favourite because it just feels like a nice chill little game, where the points are made up and the score doesn't matter, which is a nice break from the constant grind. Your Elden series is also really fun (minus the shock part) watching anyone play a souls game for the first time is just really fun (for me at least) and if you're enjoying it and wanted to keep making content for it, I'd watch a playthrough. And Idk if the amiibo vids count as a series, but those are always a joy to watch
I really enjoy the low gap to elite smash videos because you are able to analyze how people can be beat throughout the levels of online and maybe trying a heavy character like bowser!
Analysis on some evo sets. For someone trying to get better it’s really helpful and I’d love to see some of the crazy sets especially proto Lucina cuz you main Lucina at a time showing why his is so good
12:02 I know that I'm not Poppt, but my advice is that online players in general (especially Falcon players) need to be way more patient. For example, at the beginning of matches I like to hold shield for longer than usual to understand their habits. I can say that this works well for almost every character, as I have mained over half of the cast. *So listen to Poppt, stay chill, and get the kill.*
i'm gonna second the person that wanted more of the elite smash practice videos i also love the tournament videos even though of course they're more effort to produce i think they're so interesting
Oh hell yeah! I've been looking for a series similar to Stylosa's Overwatch coaching series but for smash ultimate, so I am super down for a deeper analysis level, I might even send something in, I love learning and practicing this game.
The best part about this series is that it will LITERALLY never get old. People will always submit their games so you’ll never run out of content for it either. You should make it a weekly or monthly thing!!
Definitely among my favorite series. Having the hopes to see myself on here keeps me motivated to play in GSP He- It's also cool to see what others would submit.
Please bring back “you loose you play the original game”. I have been playing videogames my whole life and grew up with alot of these games in all kinds of series. I just appreciate when you get the opportunity to show a new series to anyone. 👍🏿 Love the videos keep up the good work
I know this is a bit of a commitment, and probably hard for you to organize, but maybe on the underdogs channel with Little Zs help: Underdogs vs pandas crew battle. Even if you do a 4v3 there still probably has to be some handicap to balance, like 3 stocks for underdogs 2 stocks for pandas, but you could probably figure something out. Anyway, I think it would make a great video, and hope you see this.
This content, like twice a week, would be amazing. So fun, and I had not heard of this idea before you started the series, so it might be an original idea? Super cool.
I enjoy the analytical side of the series because not only does it help the player, we all could learn something from their clips when you break it down!
you shuld react to the set when ligth beat MKleo with a 3-0, it is a really crazy set and probobly one of my favorites cause you can se how ligth adapts really good to leos plays
For the Byleth player: neutral b is a great neutral tool, but never the fully charged one. Neutral b can help bait jumps or shieldbreaks, but neutral b and down b are only really useful after you have broken a shield. Also fair is fairly safe if you space it on sheild (it's like -6 and the spacing really helps keeping you from getting hit)
What even was that Snake match. That last stock was basically Explosion Pinball Featuring Dr. Mario. Like I've played against annoying Snakes who just throw grenades and pray, this one was Pac-Man levels of setup.
I love 'You lose, try the original videogame' and ontop of that, I believe you should play through Little Mac's Punch Out and try to complete it! I also think 'Elden ring but you shock yourself when you die' has become a classic for me.
I really enjoy Elden Ring, would be really keen to see you continue it, but please don't overdo it with the shocking. Honestly I would also watch, if you don't shock yourself, I just really love you playing the game even without the shocking.
I think these videos are nice with the analysis because with analysis of top players, we only see what they do right, but here we see what we do wrong.
Fun fact: if you really have to sneeze and it's not coming out, look at a very bright light, like the center of a lightbulb close to you. I don't know why this works but for me it does
You lose you play the original game, but this time you play the most recent game, so for some games there’s money on the line as you have to purchase it
2 reasons why you shouldnt do 16:35 as dk 1. they can tech super easily and do a reversal especially with your bad recovery (unless they are little mac probably) 2. i cheesed a dk at 40 percent with footstooling him after he tried doing this.
Are you gonna make a new I play the original game episode, I really miss this series

I want to see a new episode of “You lose, you play the original game”. Always loved that series and it shows more variety while still including Smash.

They're in the same ballpark though, i.e. not as good as Poppt1.

@Angelic haha, nah. I’m a cogger stan to death and back but Hops been on that smash grind lol. He’s only a bit less good than Zach these days imo.

It's not like it's that harsh either
@@Wienerdog5 agreed, maybe blunt is a better word for it
Lol I was enjoying watching you play Eldin Ring although I can understand why you’d be done with it considering you have to shock yourself
With the same editing, I would just watch a playthrough without the shock gimmick.
Just don't shock yourself! We still love the Eldin Ring videos without the pain!
I love the elden ring series the game is already hard and can be frustrating enough no need to shock yourself
there was never a reason to shock himself

8 man tournament each player uses their least used character according to the smash stats page. No prep time.
Elite Smash, but every time you lose, you have to write a fanfiction between the two characters that were played in the previous match.

The hardest videos in this series are always when they face Donkey Kong. I can't tell, everybody can mess up DK with combos and stuff :D
