Jet was such an underrated musician - and lovely fella with it. It's sad Cliff and his fellow ex-band members didn’t recognise his difficulties and help him.
Jet Harris & F.B.I. Saturday June 10th 1989 - Hall 'Studiozaal' Tilburg. F.B.I were formed in 1982 in The Netherlands and have an excellent CD 'Live In Atlantis' that was released in 1992.
Jet Harris didn't "leave" The Shadows. He was fired as he had a serious problem with alcohol and refused to accept treatment for that. Bruce Welch writes about this in his book "A Life in the Shadows".
Hi, Prachtige opnamen en een geweldige show. Maar..... dat was niet in België. Het was een optreden wat ik organiseerde in de Stadsschouwburg ( studiozaal) in Tilburg. Het een van de internationale Cliff Richard and Shadows Fan-meetings die ik organiseerde in Tilburg en Eindhoven in de periode van 1982 tot 2000. Jet is a great bassist. I learned a lot from him in my teen. You cannot really pull the Shadows apart, and still get a good band. All of them, including Marvin himself, didn't score a success without the whole Shadows. The last Shadows with Mark Griffiths and Cliff Hall is better than the old one, in my opinion. Marvin seems to have lost his clumsiness on stage when he is older.
U begrijpt er niet veel van, Hank, B Marvin is een erg goede gitarist. En als je het over een goed bassist hebt; Paul Mc.Cartney, John Entwistle, Chris Squire. Jet Harris; prutser eerste klas!
